"Zu! How was your play date?" Mina asked her mate as the two young men entered the dorms. She was smiling knowingly at them as she patted Cane's head who trotted up to her.
Izuku beamed. "It was great, Ten's family was very nice!" He said loudly as to convince anyone who was listening.
Mina held in a giggle. "That's wonderful." She said just as loud.
Tenya smiled at them and made to leave. "I thank you again for visiting my home. If you ever need anything, let me know." He said in a normal volume.
Izuku beamed up at him. "Kay!" He went up to Mina and bumped his head with her shoulder in a hug.
Mina reciprocated the embrace and their ritual of bumping heads. She let go and hooked arms with him as she dragged him along to the common room. Most of everyone was in the room watching the TV. Two men boxed as the group talked about their fighting style. Kirishima and Sato were especially drawn to the professional boxing match. Izuku was also drawn to the TV as he had never seen the sport.
Kirishima glanced over to Izuku as he stared at the men fighting. "Yo! How was Iida's?" He said with a sharp tooth smile.
"Good," Izuku said dismissively and pointed at the TV. "Shima, what's this?"
Kirishima tilted his head in confusion and looked between the TV and Izuku. He realized a moment later and beamed at introducing one of the most manly sports to his bro. "This is professional Boxing! A sport where two opponents hit each other with padded gloves. A few basic rules but they fight until one can't."
Izuku nodded along with the redhead's explanation. "Can anyone do boxing?"
Toshi sighed out of his nose with a tired expression. "I swear this will end with someone beaten and bruised by the end of the day." He said under his breath. Jirou by him nodded at his statement.
"Of course! Sato and me use boxing techniques in our fighting styles." He pointed over his shoulder with his thumb at Sato behind him.
"There are many fighting styles. They would be considered brawlers. I learned martial arts, a different style of fighting." Ojiro added as he watched the boxing match conclude.
Kacchan spoke up after Ojiro. "Anyone worth their salt has learned a fighting style by now. Unlike you, you feral cat." He said smirking at his old friend.
"I can fight!" Izuku said defensively. "I'm the best fighter! I even beat Rikimiki, she was supposed to be strong." He said smugly.
Everyone turned to Izuku at the completely butchered name of the Number 5 Hero. "No one is saying you can't fight, it's just you fight like... a wild animal," Yaoyorozu said tentatively and finished sheepishly. "Which to be fair, is a fighting style on its own but..."
Izuku pouted and pointed at Kacchan. "What's your fighting style then!?"
Kacchan smirked and crossed his arms as he raised his chin in superiority. "The Ultra Bomber Murder Special!"
"Tubms? That's sounds dumb." Izuku said plainly.
That ignited Kacchan both figuratively and literally as he jumped to his feet and yelled. "Hah?!" He jabbed a finger at Izuku. "If you didn't have all that shit in your body, I could kick your ass three days from Sunday!"
Izuku looked utterly confused. "Bad words. But what does Thursday have anything to do with fighting?" He said after counting on his hand to make sure he had the right day of the week. He was still very bad at keeping track of time.
There were some snickers at Izuku's innocent attitude. "I say we settle this like men." Everyone turned to Sato as he smiled widely. "Fighting ring." He pointed to the backyard.
