The Ashidos!

Izuku and Mina rode in silence to the police station until the feral boy felt his side vibrate. Mina looked oddly at him and Izuku pulled his shirt up and his phone emerged from his abdomen. His mate gave him a flat look. He didn't understand the emotion and just smiled at her. He guessed it was the right thing to do since she smiled back.

He checked his phone to see half a dozen messages from his friends asking him what had happened and if he was alright. He responded to them in the group chat Mina had shown him. 'That one villain from the USJ, Shizaki, attacked me and I bit his hand off. Then Stain tried to kill Shizaki but hurt me and Mina. I beat him and now we are okay.' He hit send and nodded in satisfaction.

Mina snorted loudly at seeing his message typed out with a few tendrils. "His name is Shigaraki not Shizaki!"

Nem swerved on the road upon hearing that and asked in alarm. "He attacked you!?

"I was pretty sure his name was Shizaki," Izuku said with a scrunched-up nose. "And yeah, he used his dust quirk on my neck but I bit most of his hand off. It's still probably at the mall." He said with a shrug.

Nem pulled out her phone and called someone to explain what Izuku had just said. While she did that, Izuku received more messages from the group chat. Most of them were exclamations of alarm and more questions. He was beginning to get overwhelmed trying to respond to them all but his mate came to his rescue and helped him by taking his phone and typing.

They arrived at a station and they got out and walked together to a conference room after passing a few police officers who nodded to Nem in her uniform. A familiar man was waiting in the room already for them. Izuku stared at him for a moment, trying to remember where he met him before. Nem left for a moment and then came back with a new shirt for Izuku to wear instead of the one he had that was slashed all over. He took it and set it to the side to switch later.

"Ah! You're that guy who asked me questions about Inko!" Izuku said pointing at him with a smile.

The Detective chuckled and nodded. "That I am. Good to see you again, Izuku. My name is Naomasa Tsukauchi." He said with a bow to Mina and Nem. He motioned them to sit across from him. "Miss Kayama is here as a guardian for the two of you so you guys can give out a statement of the events that happened today." He placed a recorder and hit start on the small device. "Mina Ashido, can you tell me what happened? From start to finish?"

Mina looked slightly nervous but did so from her point of view from the start of the day to the point Eraserhead and Midnight arrived. Tsukauchi asked a few clarifying questions but kept track of each time his quirk registered as truth. He nodded and then turned to Izuku.

"Izuku Kayama, please tell me what happened. From start to finish."

Izuku looked confused since Mina just told him but shrugged and went along with it. "We were shopping, Mina went to the bathroom and I waited outside. Someone grabbed my neck from behind and felt my neck begin to dissolve, I guess, and I turned to see it was Shizaki. I bit most of his hand off and then Stain hit me with a knife. He said he was aiming at Shizaki but I got in the way." He continued until he reached the point where he had Stain pinned to a pillar and the two heroes arrived.

"To clarify, you said Shizaki. Did you mean Shigaraki Tomura, the same villain who attacked your class at the USJ?" He said with a slight smile.

"It was the same villain from then, but I'm pretty sure I'm right." He said confidently.

Nem and Mina both held in laughter at his surety. Tsukauchi did the same and covered his smile with a cough. "Alright, thank you for your cooperation. You are both clear from any vigilante actions since it was all in self-defense but there is one thing we need to discuss." He turned his attention to Izuku.
