"Everyone here?" Aizawa didn't wait for a response before continuing. "Good, while it's still summer break we will continue the training on campus after the... interruption at camp." His eye briefly flickered to Izuku's asymmetrical arm before looking over the whole class again. "Crime will rise due to the fact of All Might's retirement which is why Nezu decided to push the first years to get your provisional hero licenses."
The class chatted excitedly at the prospect while Izuku looked around at his pack in confusion. "Zawa! What's that?"
"It's the driver's permit to your hero license," Aizawa said with an unamused look at the nickname.
"We need licenses to drive?" The feral boy asked confused. "We need licenses to be heroes? I thought it was like a job like being a doctor." He asked even more confused.
There were a few giggles in the small crowd of students at their class president's words. Meanwhile, their teacher was looking up at the sky for guidance. "Why?" He asked the heavens. With a long-suffering sigh, he looked down at the green-haired boy. "You will need to pass qualification to obtain the hero provisional license to show your competence to be a hero then another test to get your hero licenses."
Izuku absorbed the information and nodded in understanding. "Kay! Thanks, Zawa." He said with a beaming smile.
The class smiled at his bright smile and turned to Aizawa who was ready to retire right then and there. "Moving along, the dorms. If you break something, fix it. If you can't fix it, figure it out. You are old enough." He moved to open the front doors and walked in with the class following. "Your belongings are already in front of your rooms. Boys are on the right wing and girls on the left wing." He turned and glared at the whole class. "I do not have to remind you of boundaries, do I?"
"No, sir!" The class said in unison.
"Good, decide on who does what for chores. Dietary needs have been provided for everyone. If there is a specific things needed then make a list and it will be provided with the next shopping trip." Aizawa continued with the tour into the kitchen. "With that, I am done. Good luck." He promptly turned and left through the front door, leaving 1A standing in the common room.
Yayoruzo was the first to break the silence. "I suppose we should settle in and put our belongings away." The class agreed with the statement and they dispersed to find their rooms.
"Aww, I'm on the third floor!" Kaminari complained as they checked out the map of each floor. "You wanna switch?" He looked to Sero who was on the first floor.
"The layout was made for a specific reason!" Iida chopped his arm up and down.
"I kinda want the third floor," Sero said while looking around. He grabbed a pen and quickly crossed out Kaminari's name and replaced it with his and did vice versa with his. "There!" He said proudly.
"That's against the rules!" Iida admonished.
"There are rules?" Izuku asked confused. "No one told me."
After a second of processing that, everyone quickly began to make bargains to switch rooms. To Iida's dismay, everyone had switched rooms except for Izuku and Iida. In the end, Yayoruzo made a new map of the building's rooms since the original one was filled with crossed-out names over and over again. From there, everyone began to bring their belongings to the room they traded for. It was complete chaos.
Izuku watched it all happen with Iida at his side. He scratched his stomach and said. "I'm hungry." And moved to the kitchen.
Iida could only cave into the controlled chaos and went to his room to put his belongings in order. Now, Izuku didn't know how to cook in terms of using pots, pans, or any kind of utensils so he rummaged around the cabinets to find something that smelled somewhat appealing. He found a myriad of smells that assaulted his sensitive nose from spices to a bug flour. He dipped his finger in the flour to taste it but he didn't much care for the taste, he'd had tastier bugs before.
