"BREAKING NEWS," the anchor man said over Cassie's TV. "Another female high school student has been found dead from a suspected drug overdose in the county area.  Officials have yet to release any information on the victim, but more updates will be on the way soon."

Shaking her head at the story, Cassie switched the TV off and proceeded in getting ready for the arbitration hearing. It had been a rough couple of weeks. Buck being gone had put a strain in the firehouse, and all of them were on edge with the on-going lawsuit. But they were family, and family sticks together.

Grabbing her bag, she contemplated if she really needed them or not, as she was only going to take them if she really needed them. To help stop the migraines. "You sure you need those?" Bryon asked sipping from her coffee mug. He had a habit of just showing up at the most unexpected times. "Is this gonna be like an everyday routine now? You're just gonna haunt me every morning like a guilty conscious?" Cassie snapped at the ghost? Hallucination? Figment of her imagination? She hadn't determined what he was just yet.

"I'm just looking out for you. Someone has too, if you won't." He shrugged obnoxiously sipping on the mug. What was even in there?

"I'm fine. So just do me a favor and go back to wherever the hell you came from."

"TAKE A SEAT." The lawyer and Cassie stepped inside the conference room, where the arbitration hearing was being held. To say the least Cassie was nervous, she hadn't seen Buck since the night he left, and now she's sitting directly across from the man, yet he refuses to look her in the eye. Clenching her jaw, she folded her hands neatly in front of her as the arbitrator took his seat as well. " This is not a trial, and I am not a judge. This arbitration will address Mr. Buckley's claim against the Los Angeles fire Department for wrongful termination."

"Alright, Ms. Fields how about we simply start off from the night of the accident. Tell us your side of what occurred the night of May sixteenth."Chase Mackey started off motioning for her to explain her side of the story.

"Um, our Interim captain was in charge of us at the time, and while we were dispatched to a call we received a radioed call from captain Nash about a bomb being placed in the truck, that Mr. Buckley was driving. However before we could employ any protocol, we made sharp right turn and the bomb explosion threw me and the other passengers out of the vehicle, and ultimately crushed Mr. Buckley's leg." Cassie listed off briefly making eye contact with man before quickly giving his lawyer her full attention.
