I slowly walked up to a group of 2 girls who were sitting in the ball pit, I looked back at Mama, just to make sure she hadn't decided to leave me alone, Mama was watching me and every time I looked back at her she would make sure she gave me a smile. "Hi! Did you come to play with us?" I jumped and turned my attention back to the ball pit, I nodded my head and looked at one of the girls. "My name's Ava and this is Bella, we are best friends! Do you want to be our best friend too?" I nodded my head, "Cali" and pointed to myself.
"Your name is Cali? That's so such a cute name, how old are you? We are both five." I shrugged my shoulders and looked at the ball pit, "Balls?" "You wanna jump in?" I nodded and looked back at Mama, she was still watching me, I turned back to Ava and Bella, Bella looked at me "Come on, Jump in!" I nodded and stepped into the ball pit, Ava started laughing, "You were supposed to jump silly!" I looked at her and whimpered, she was laughing at me! "Scared" she stopped laughing and looked at me, she moved through the balls and came over to me, she gave me a big hug, "Awww don't be scared Cali, it's fun to jump in!" Bella started moving to the edge of the ball pit, "Watch me Cali! I'll jump in and show you how much fun it is!"
Ava and Bella were really fun to play with, they showed me how to jump in the ball pit and how to climb up to the top of the playground and slide down the big slide! We played for a long time, until Mama called me, I looked at my new friends. "Go, Mama" and pointed down to where Mama was standing looking up at me on the top of the playground. Ava looked at where I was pointing, "That's your Mama, come on, let's go down the slide and take you to your Mama." we all went down the slide and went running over to Mama, "MAMA!" Mama knelt down and picked me up, she gave me a kiss on my head, "Hi, Babygirl, did you have fun playing? Are you ready for some lunch?" I nodded and looked back at Ava and Bella who had come right behind me, "Ava, Bella." Ava looked up at Mama, "Hi! We played, Cali is our new bestest friend!" "Thank you for playing with Cali, girls, it's time for lunch, do you want to see if you can come eat with us?"
Ava and Bella ran off while Mama started walking towards a table that had some food on it, she sat down and settled me on her lap, "Alright Babygirl, I ordered some mac and cheese for you with a fruit cup. Do you want me to feed you?" I nodded and looked up at her, she smiled at me. "Cali!" I jumped and looked over as Ava and Bella came running over, "My Mommy said we can eat lunch with you!" I noticed a lady come walking up behind them, "Hi there, this must be Cali, and you must be her Mama, Ava and Bella begged me to let them come eat with her." "Hi there, yes this is Cali, and I'm Gabby, seems like the girls had fun playing." "Yes that they did, we come every Sunday to play if you want to start meeting, they seem to have had lots of fun with Cali." Mama fed me some food as Ava and Bella sat down on the other side of the table. "Aw, yeah that would be great, it would be nice for her to have some friends. I wasn't sure if she would like it in here, but your little ones seem to have helped her adjust really well. I'll give you my number and maybe we can arrange a play date as well." I kind of stopped listening to Mama and started watching Ava and Bella, they noticed me watching them and they started making funny faces, causing all of us to laugh.
Once lunch was done, Mama picked me up and said good-bye to Ava's Mommy and Ava and Bella, I need to get her home, but we will see you soon. Say bye Cali." I waved and looked over at Ava and Bella, "Aww, Mommy does Cali have to go?" "Yes Ava, Cali needs to go home, and we need to head out to pick up big brother from his friend's house." Ava pouted but waved bye to me, Mama waved and headed out the door, she stopped at the counter and got a season pass so we could come back again. I was placed into my car seat, and I fell asleep as soon as Mama started driving.
Mama's day out completed!
Also, I'm going out of town next week for work, so more than likely will not be able to get an update out next week sorry everyone!
