Khushi Aviraj Singh's POV
When I wake up the following morning, Aviraj is soundly asleep beside me. I always thought he was an ideal man—calm, collected, and grown up—but who can claim that this adult man carries a child inside of him that never gets enough love? He curls up against me and rests his face on my neck as I stroke his hair. His beard tickles me as he rubs his face against my neck, and I start to laugh and say
"Leave me; your beard is ticklish."
"Let me sleep." After saying this, he began to gently stroke my neck with his beard once more.
"You know what? You go to sleep and let me go." I said, attempting to take his hand off my waist, but he gripped tighter and said
"I can only sleep when you are with me; I get a bad habit from you."
"Bad??Huh?" With a glare in his direction, I asked, but he covered my neck once more and began preparing a kiss, which made my breathing irregular. As his lips drew closer, I couldn't help but feel a mix of anticipation and nervousness. My mind raced with conflicting thoughts, unsure of how to respond to his affectionate gestures.
"Addiction to anything is not good, and you, my wife, have become my everything. Without you, I can't sleep, I can't work without seeing your face once, and I can't have my food without you. And one day, if I get to know that without you I can't breathe, I will not be surprised because I know the day I will have you in my arms, that day will be the best day of my life." With a proud glance at my neck, he looked into my eyes and said,
"You look good with it. Now, I want to sleep." He stated, but I got out of bed and remarked, "Go get ready!"
"Say a little lovingly." He indicated.
"Awww, my dear husband, now take your ass and get ready. We need to leave. Hurry up." I rolled my eyes as I said that and left to take a shower, but not before I heard Aviraj say something. He was looking so proud because, as I looked in the mirror, I could see that I had hickeys on my necks. As I dried off, Aviraj called out from the bedroom, "Don't forget to cover those hickeys!" I chuckled to myself, knowing that he was just being playful.
I take a shower and get ready to make breakfast because we have to leave because, for some reason, Adarsh was supposed to go to the palace today. Even though I know he won't answer, I still want to know and don't want to ask. I realized I should have taken my phone with me when I got ready, so I took it out of the charging station. Just then, our room door opened, and Aviraj appeared with a tray full of food and said,
"Breakfast is ready, my lady." I put my phone down on the bed, and my mouth drops at the sound of Aviraj's whistle, not the cooker's. My cheek begins to heat up as Aviraj whistles again, examining me from head to toe as I raise my eyebrow and blink my eyes twice. He stepped close to me, and my back quickly collided with the wall because I was standing so close to it. With one hand on the wall near my face, Aviraj turned his head to face me and said
"You look stunning in this saree." I laughed and remarked,
"Really? But someone told me, In green, I look like a parrot."
