Khushi Aviraj Singh's POV

The palace was stunning as we walked in the intricate carvings and vibrant colors added a touch of grandeur to the already majestic architecture. It felt like stepping into a fairy tale world where every corner held a new surprise, leaving me in awe of the opulence that surrounded us. The palace gave off a very elegant and regal look. It was evening when Adarsh pulled the car outside. As the sun began to set, the palace seemed to glow with a warm, golden light, casting a magical ambiance over the entire scene.

After getting out of the car, we all prepared to get back inside. A little girl, maybe five years old, is playing when she comes running toward us. She stumbles and begins to cry. Just as I made my way toward her, Aviraj got down on his knees in front of her and helped her up. Taking her in his arms, he asked

"Are you hurt anywhere?" She nods as she wipes away her tears.

"Where?" He inquired once more, and she responded by extending her elbow. He asked Adarsh to get the bandage out of the car, as I pointed out that she had a cut on her elbow.

"I have one." I said, pulling a bandage out of my purse to apply to her wound. He gave me a look and remarked,

"Of course, you will have a bandage with you because you are a walking disaster. That can get hurt anytime, anywhere." I glanced at him and inquired.

"What do you mean by that?" He grinned and replied,

"Same as you think." I roll my eyes and try to take that girl from him with both hands, but she tucks her face into his neck and tightens her hold on him. I gave it another go, and this time she began to shake her head and give him another hug. My mouth was hanging, and he laughed.

"Stop trying; she loves me and will not go with you." I clenched my teeth at the words Aviraj spoke. I gave her a look and uttered,

"Baby, come to me. I will take you out and bring a lot of chocolates; come to me." She lowered her voice and shook her head.

"I don't want chocolates." Aviraj cracked a grin.

"Ok, I will bring toys now." I pleaded, and she shook her head and said no once more. After a few more attempts, I eventually asked her

"What do you want?" She then looked innocent and replied,

"Dadu said that the king of this palace would come here on this date, but he never came. I want to meet him and his queen, but Ma said that the king will never come here again because he doesn't care for us." We exchanged glances before turning to face this girl. Then, with a smile, he said,

"That's not true. You tell me you are also far from your home at present. Does that mean you stop caring for me, ma? No, right. Same as that, the king is far from you all, but he cares for you all." With an optimistic smile, the girl nodded in understanding.

"I will tell this to my mother, and then she will never say this about my king." She clapped her hand and planted a kiss on his cheek. I had only one thought while I was staring at them both, and that was
