*Caspar's P.O.V.*
"Dude... How long do we have to do this for? Charlie messaged me and I feel bad. She needs me home. I don't think she's taking it well." I let out.
Alfie walks over to me to comfort me.
"I don't know, we can go back soon. Probably tonight. We'll walk in and surprise them and then we can prank them more while we're there. Zo's still in on it isn't she?" Alfie asks.
"Pretty sure." I answer. Its around 8:30pm now and I don't want Charlie to have to spend the night without me. She's obviously worried, from the text I just got from her. I could only read it from my lock screen.
Caspar, please. I need you. I'm breaking here. Why is our room locked. I can't live here without you. Come back. Please. I love you.
I was almost in tears from that message. She's obviously struggling a lot.
"I wanna go back now." I let out.
"We can do that mate. I'll just get Joe." Alfie says, rubbing my shoulder and then turning to walk away to wherever Joe was.I just stare at my phone.
I go on Twitter and all that's there is more of the girls - mostly Charlie - tweeting to get us home. I can't imagine what the viewers think right now... I can't be bothered to look.As I press the home button and lock my phone, Alfie and Joe walk out with bags packed. They only had one each, not even suitcases. Just a backpack or small overnight bags. We didn't have much to unpack since we weren't planning on staying long anyway, but they were ready to go.
I'm stoked with that, so I quickly go to get my bag.
I grab my bag and my phone charger and leave my bedroom of a whole 5 or so hours.
We all walk down to the lobby of the hotel and wait for the reception woman.
She walks out and looks really grumpy.
"What?" She asks rudely.
"Well then...." Alfie says under his breathe.
The woman shoots him a glare and Joe quickly starts talking to distract her from Alfie.
"Uhh. So we were going to leave today. We decided not to stay tonight." Joe says.
"What, we aren't good enough? You want to run off to some 8/5 star hotel because 5 star isn't good enough?"'8/5 star isn't a thing? Idiot woman.' I think to myself.
"Excuse me?" She asks, glaring at me.Shit. I said it out loud. I couldn't have said it that loud...
"Uhmm? What?" I ask, trying to act dumb.
"You are being rude under your breathe. You are so inappropriate. Teenage delinquents these days..." She trails off, fiddling with things scattered on your desk.
"If I'm not mistaken, you were rude first. You came out and straight out said "What?" in a very rude manner. It's a bit hypocritical to call us rude when you were first. As for my friend, he has a condition where he speaks his feelings out loud some times when he doesn't mean to. So if you let us, we'll be leaving now." I'm shocked at all of what I just heard.
"That's right Alfie, lay down the law!" I say, jokingly but half serious.
The woman, once again does not look impressed. Maybe its just her facial structure.
"That's not allowed." She simply says.
"What do you mean it "isn't allowed"?" Joe asks, making air quotations.
"You can't leave until you've stayed at least 9 hours." She says.
"That can't be a real rule..." Joe says. I can see his face getting red. He was angry.
I pull him back and stand in his place.
"If we pay the cost of staying for 1 night, will you let us leave today? Right now." I propose.
"No." The woman says, crossing her arms.
"Well screw you. That's me speaking my feelings out loud. Here's your money. Bye." I say, rolling my eyes and throwing around $700 at the stubborn woman and then I turn around and give a backwards wave.
We all walk out and get in the car. As we drive past the main door to the hotel lobby, I flip the finger at the woman. My last sight of her is her face looking surprised. Obviously because of my attitude towards her.
"How did you do that?" Joe asks, laughing.
Alfie's also laughing.
"I don't know actually..." I laugh.
The drive back to the house is just all talking about the stubborn bitch who ran that place and everything that we all said.We finally pull up outside our house and just sit there for a while.
"So what do we tell them?" Joe asks in the midst of the silence.
"We could tell them that we went out and the car broke down and we had no service on our phones?" Alfie suggests.
"Yeah.. That could work. Or say there was traffic. Might be suss if our car broke down but we come home in it. What about the bags?" I ask.
"Leave them in here? We can get them out later." Joe says.
"Okay, sounds good. We ready boys?" I ask.
"Yep." They both say in unison.
We hop out of the car and walk up to the door. I'm still unsure of what to say, even though we went over it in the car. There would be endless questions. I don't know if I'm prepared for all that.
Why did you leave?
Why didn't you answer when you got service back?
Why is the bedroom door locked?
Why is the toilet bubbling?
I'm sure they would bombard us with many more questions. I'll have to think quickly.
I get out my house keys and push the key into the lock and turn it. The door smoothly opens and I see Charlie walking to the door. She freezes as soon as she sees me, then drops to the floor in tears. I rush over to her and pull every corner of her body onto my lap so that there is no free space.
"Woahhhh cuzzie, what's going on?" Joe asks, quickly following when he sees what's happening.
Charlie just shakes her head.
"I'll take you up to our room, okay? We can talk in there." I say slowly, brushing the hair gently off her face. The hairs are clinging to her hair because of her tears. I'm sure I can help her though.I help her up and then scoop her up into my arms. She wraps her hands around ny neck weakly and rests her head on my chest. I hastily go upstairs with her.
I turn to our room and try and open it - forgetting that its locked.
"I-its locked." Charlie mutters.
"Shhh. Its okay. I have my room key. I don't know how it got locked in the first place. But it's okay now. We're all home, safe and sound." I say softly.
I pull my key out of my pocket, still holding Charlie, and unlock the door. I walk in and shut the door behind.I place her delicate body on the bed and tuck her in and then I get in beside her. As soon as I'm in the bed, she cuddles up to my chest and leaves her head leaning there.
"What happened then?" She asks quietly.
"We went for a drive and lost service. That's all."
God, she is going to kill me when she sees the video.
"But you could've told us you were going out." Charlie let out.
She seemed able to talk better now, she wasn't as worked up.
"I know, and I'm sorry for not letting you know." I say, stroking her hair.
"I missed you." She speaks queitly, but I can still feel her sweet breath on my skin as she talks.
"I missed you too." I reply.Okay this chapter, I quite liked because its pretty cute and I have a lot of inspiration now! :') like/comment/follow!! :)
