So sorry. I haven't updated in a month. Life has been really busy I had no inspiration so sorry. :') I'll try and update more from now on. :') here you go anyway.I walked out of the hospital and to the car. I opened the driver's seat door and sat down into my car.
Zoe handed me the keys and I put them in ignition. I started the radio but turned it down so it wouldn't disturb Zoe too much.
"There's some Panadol in the glovebox if you need." I said.
"Thanks for letting me know." Zoe replied with some strain in her voice.
She opened the small compartment in front of her and got out the box of tablets. She popped out two from the plastic and put the box back in the glovebox.
I glanced over as Zoe grabbed her water bottle from the drink holder in the middle console and drank down the tablets.
She shook her head in disgust. I'm guessing they dissolved and she tasted it.
"I tasted it." She groaned.
"Knew it." I said, half smiling.
"Not funny Charlie." She said jokingly.
I just continued to drive along and stopped at the service station for some petrol. Zoe stayed in the car while I got the petrol.
I got back in the car and Zoe had a shocked look on her face but she wasn't looking at me. She was facing forward.
"Drive. Now." She ordered.
I immediately did what she said and as I pulled out of the servo, I noticed that there were 3 fans following us.
"Far out, they're crazy aren't they? We're at a servo for god's sake." I say with an annoyed tone in my voice. I just want to get home and put comfy clothes on and relax.
I half speed the way home. The speed limit is 60 and Zoe's told me off about 3 times for not watching the limit.
I turn onto our street and I see 4 people waiting outside our driveway.
"Who are they...?" Zoe asks warily before we get too near to the driveway.
"I think they might be fans. Again. I'll just drive past and drive around for a while until they get bored and leave." I say.
"If they leave. Fans are persistent. People wait out the opening of an apple store just for a new iPhone." Zoe says with a long sigh.
"Well how about if they are still there we just don't go home tonight, we have money. We could get hotel rooms." I suggest, looking at Zoe.
"Girls night?" She asks excitedly.
"Girls night." I confirm.
I drive to the most well known hotel in our suburb and we get out and enter the big building.
I walk up to the receptionist at the front desk as Zoe fiddles around with some brochures on the walls for tourists.
"Hello, would we be able to book a room for one night? Just tonight?" I ask sweetly.
"We usually only take reservations but I'm too tired to deal with angry people so of course I could get you two a room. Do you mind sleeping in the same beds or would you prefer separate?" The receptionist asked nicely.
