I'm sorry that these have been so late recently! There's a lot going on, its hard to keep up with everything!
*Charlie's P.O.V.*
I stand up, cover our valuables and run from Caspar, towards the water. After we finished our ice creams, we just sat and talked for a while.
I get closer to the water, and the tiny waves washing up on the sand starts to hit my feet.
I feel hands grab around my waist and suddenly I'm flying around, my feet off the ground and I'm being rushed into the water.
"Casp! Put me down!" I laugh.
"Okay." He says simply. I turn around and he kisses my forehead, and then drops me in the water.
My head stays above water, thankfully. Even though I'm wearing waterproof mascara, I don't want my head wet yet.
I just stare at Caspar.
"Hey!" I giggle.
He shrugs. "You said to drop you."
I lightly punch his chest.
"I love you." I say, wrapping my arms around him.
He picks me up and twirls me around again.
I giggle and kick my feet slightly.
"And I love you, babe."
I smile and he puts me down gently in the water. We muck around for a bit over half an hour and then decide that we'll walk back soon.
I dry myself with a towel, and chuck one to Caspar, behind me.
I feel a hard whip to my leg and turn around. I see a cheeky looking Caspar, giggling to himself. I run over to him and attempt to whip him back with my towel, but he dodges it and walks to a safe distance, so I can't hit him.
"Missed me, missed me! Now you gotta kiss me!" He snickers, like a school student.
My expression remains competitive, though I still walk over and kiss him.
I break the kiss and start to walk away, but after taking one step, I quickly turn around and whip him with my towel.
"Ha! Got you!" I laugh. He looks at me and smiles.
"Alright, Charlie. Lets go back now." He laughs.
I gather all my things together and slip my dress back on. I leave my sandals off, since its around 5:30 and the ground wouldn't be hot anymore.
We start walking off the beach, hand in hand and then Caspar speaks up.
"You excited for Andrew and Theo's wedding?" He asks.
"Excited? Caspar, I'm more thank excited! Pretty much my sister-in-law is getting married! Of course I'm thrilled!" I say, happily.
"Sister-in-law, huh? Not exactly, babe. Not yet." Caspar says with a little wink. My heart flutters at that.
The walk back to the house is left in a comfortable silence. We get back and we're greeted by many, the moment we walk through the door.
"You two took your time getting home, ey?" Gary says, nudging Caspar.
"Nah, none of that." He laughs in response.
"Hey Charlie! We missed you aaaalllllll day!" Hannah says, hugging around my legs. Max walks up after her and joins her.
I just laugh at how sweet they both are.
"Han, Max, do you want to share Charlie with the rest of the family now?" Their father chuckles.
I smile at him.
The kids let go, as Gary told them, and run off into the lounge room. I follow them, to see that they're watching the TV screen, and its on Skyrim. Its a bit of an over rated game for them I think, considering their age, but Gary was probably playing it with them.
"Hey, kids, that's my favourite video game! Do you want me to play it and you guys watch?" I ask.
They both nod their heads.
I take the controller for the PS3 and play, with them both snuggled into my side.
"How do you say his name?" Hannah asks, pointing at the screen.
"Who? Him?" I ask, looking at her, confirming the person she was talking about.
She nods her head.
"Ull-frick." I say. They repeat it.
"That's good! Now say his whole name. Ulfric Stormcloak." I tell them.
"Ulfric Stormclock." Max says.
"No Maxie! Cloak, not clock." Hannah says.
"That's right, Hannah." I say.
