*Charlie's P.O.V.*

Caspar and I walk hand in hand down the path lit by street lights and the crisp night air blows my hair around gently.

"Are you excited for the baby?" Caspar suddenly asks.
"Cas, we don't know if there is a baby yet."
"But I hope there is." He says, his voice really softening.
"Well, yes I am excited. I just don't want to get my hopes up for something that might not be there." I explain, "I don't want to mentally prepare myself and make plans if we aren't sure it's going to happen."
"Baby, I get that. But we could just try for a baby and be sure?" He smirks.
"Maybe." I return his smirk and stand on my toes to kiss his cheek.
In all honesty, I don't really need to be on my toes to reach him but it's a habit these days.

After walking around the streets with only the moonlight and streetlights to light our way, we decide we can go to the restaurant now and we won't be too early or too late.

I take a photo to post on Instagram and i get a perfect one on the first try. Because of the time of night, the photo is cool toned already - I don't need to edit it at all.

We arrive at the restaurant and Caspar speaks to the man who met us at the door.
"Ah. Mr Lee? You had a table for two reserved, correct" The man asks, dragging his finger down the folder of bookings.
"Yes, that's right." Caspar smiles in response.

"Right this way."
The man shows us to our table and we both sit down.

"This place is beautiful Caspar." I say, beaming. I look around, taking in the beauty of this place. How didn't I know this was here?
The colour scheme was plain white but they executed it in the best way possible. The carpet was a rich red colour but it didn't look tacky like some other places.
There was an indoor water feature, one of those ones that you can touch it and you won't get wet, but it still looks like water is falling down.
"Of course it's beautiful. I can't take you just anywhere. You deserve nothing but the best." Caspar says.

I glance down at the table and see the menus.
I open it up and all this food is so posh, I don't know what to choose.
"Cas, you need to choose for me, I have no idea what all this is." I giggle.

"Okay, well I don't know what I feel like so I'll order two things and we'll share." He suggests.
"Sounds great." I smile.

We sit and chat as the waiter serves other people and soon enough he comes over to take our orders.
Caspar orders the chef's special and something else that I don't know how to say, and then the waiter proceeded to ask,
"And what desserts would you like?"
We forgot all about dessert and I looked at Caspar who checked the menu, trying to look calm.
He looked over at me to ask what I want and I giggled and then gave a shrug.
"I don't mind, I'll have whatever." I smile.
Cas scans over the menu one last time before deciding on two desserts.
"Could we get the chocolate mousse and raspberry tart and the white chocolate parfait with chocolate sorbet?"
"Of course, and with the chicken would you like potato on the side or a serving of salad?" The waiter further asks.
"Salad, please." Caspar smiles and the waiter nods in response, scribbling it down on his notepad.
"Thank you." I grin, giving the waiter my menu.
He collects them both and walks off.

After the waiter is out of ear shot, I ask Caspar a question.
"What was that chicken thing you ordered?" I giggle, feeling like I sound like an absolute moron.
"Coq au vin."
I just stare at him.
"Which brings me back to my first question, what is that?" I laugh.
"It's chicken cooked in wine and stock and it's got vegetables and stuff." He briefly explains.
"Ohhhh. So I'll like it?"
"Well I hope so, you like chicken so you should." He smiles.

About 5 minutes pass of Caspar and I talking and I start to really think about the food.
"I'm excited for food." I say as my stomach groans quietly, not loud enough for Caspar to hear.
"Yeah me too, I hope what I chose out is okay." Caspar looks down at the table.
"I'm sure I'll love everything we have tonight." I reassure him.

A short while after, the food is brought out and I buzz with excitement, just like every other time I come to a restaurant. Whenever I go out for dinner, I watch the waiter or waitress as they bring the food out, each time mentally begging it to be mine. Most of the time it isn't mine. As soon as I stop paying attention, they normally bring the food.

The waiter puts the two dishes of food on the table and we immediately both thank him. He starts to walk away and we each pick up our knives and forks and dig in.

Hey hey! I'm sorry this is a bit short and tacky. I just really wanted to upload and I'm really tired and angry today and I have been for the last few days which really sucks. ://
