Chapter 59

*Charlie's P.O.V.*

I finish washing the plates and lean them on the drying rack.
I walk back upstairs to where Emily and Caspar are, and they're pretty much done with folding the linen.
Emily leaves the room with all the stuff and shuts the door on her way out.
"Hey Charlie. I was thinking..." Caspar trailed off quietly.
I stay silent, waiting for him to continue.
"I was thinking maybe its time to, you know, seal the deal?" He says slowly.
"What do you mean?" I ask, my voice shaking. My heart is beating out of my chest right now. Is he saying what I think he is saying?

"Charlie. I know you're the love of my life and I could never have found anyone else as perfect for me as you are. You bring out the best in me and I love that. Ever since I met you, I noticed the twinkle in your eye. You are freaking flawless and I don't want to live my life with anyone else but you. I want us to grow old together. I love you Charlie, more than words can explain." He reaches into his back pocket and lowers to one knee in front of me. He opens the box and inside is a gorgeous ring with a small diamond in it.

The tears start flooding my eyes and my vision becomes blurry.
"So I'm asking you, will you marry me?" He says, as his eyes become red, he beams at me.
I just nod, unable to physically say one word.
He puts the ring on my finger and jumps up, picking me up in his strong arms as our lips crash together.
"I love you." I manage to speak, as he holds me.
"I hid a camera in here because I wanted to capture the moment completely. And nobody else knew that this was going to happen this early." He smiles. "So everyone will be surprised."

"Where's the camera?" I ask as he places me gently back on the floor.
"Its just my vlogging camera, its sitting up on the desk, so it pretty much just looks like its sitting on the table, turned off. I knew you wouldn't pay much attention to it, so it was pretty easy. We can keep a private memory of it." Caspar whispers quietly.
"Even though it'll always be fresh in our minds." I smile, kissing him.

We walk downstairs, my hand in Caspar's.
"Bye mum!" Caspar yells out.
"Bye!" I yell.
"See you, kids!" She replies.
"So Casp, where are we off to today?" I ask.
"Somewhere." He answers.
"Surprise?" I ask.
"Yep. But you don't have to wait that long, it's pretty close." He says, as we walk along the sidewalk, hand in hand.

We walk past the beach we went to the other day. There's a massive plaza just in next to it. Looks like we're going in there.
"What are we doing Casp?" I ask, seriously.
"You'll see." He simply says.
"Casparrr." I groan, pulling on his arm.
"Just a few more minutes and you'll have half the surprise." He tells me.
I stay quiet, until we approach a rather cool looking shop.
I'm surprised when Caspar takes me in there.

This shop is a lot similar to a shop in Australia, City Beach. It has clothing, shoes, accessories and snapbacks, but most of all, skateboards. I'm instantly drawn as soon as I see the skateboards at the side.
Caspar looks at me and smiles.
"Pick one." He says, simply.
My jaw drops.
He motions toward the skateboards.
"Go on, which ever one you like." He smiles.

I look at all the boards, some on the wall and some hanging up.
After a few minutes of looking, I finally set my eyes on one in particular.
Its one I've had my eyes on for a while now but I never thought I would get my hands on one. I always admired it and wanted it, as soon as I saw a photo of it.
A board with Bliss 'n Eso's 'Walking On Air' album cover on it. There's one board designed for each album, but I never thought I'd get one.

"I know which one I want." I smile, shyly. I point upward to the skateboard, and Caspar smiles.
"I saw that one and thought you might pick it. I choose this one." He points to a black board with a blue and yellow tag on it, with orange detailing around it.
My eyes light up. Its amazing.
"Wow." I say.
"Alrighty, we better buy these then." He smiles.
One of the employees gets the skateboards down and Caspar pays. The woman takes the plastic off from around the boards, and hands them to us, smiling.

"There's a sweet skatepark that's got a kids section on one side and a proper skating bowl on the other. Wanna go?" Caspar suggests.
"Lets skate there." I smile.
We both get on our boards and I take Caspar's hand, almost pulling him along. The board rides smoothly and I'm really comfortable on it. Sometimes it takes me some time to warm up to a new board, since I would've been using my most recent one, well, most recently.

We arrive at the skatepark and I sit on one of the seats and relax for a little bit and Caspar sits next to me.
"We'll do some skating later, now I just want to be with you." Caspar says, kissing me softly.
