18. Unfinished Memory

Hara's POV

I need to at least remember that book that the killer is talking about. I need to think, but I can't.

All of us left in silence to think about the book. All of them are rooted for me. I'm the only piece to solve this problem. Yeah, what would be the relevance of that book? What if there's really a treasure or secret or something. Ugh, I can't remember any.

"I have a confession to make." Leehan suddenly stood up. "I just heard someone outside, and it's talking about the book. Also, I just saw the same mark as Seoyun's. It's obviously the killers. He is tall as Sungho hyung but with glasses. He has associates, and they're buffed actually." I can see the disgust from their face. Ican't with their reaction. Well except for Jaehyun, he'sterrified and made a tuck in pose like he's really scared. "Don't worry they aren't that scary. They're just greedy buffed people." Woonhak calmed Jaehyun down and finally Jaehyun calmed a bit. "Thanks Hakie ^^"
Woonhak smiled a bit and turned his face to me.

"You have remember anything about that book Hara noona, I mean Minseo noona." He sincerely said it to me. "It's ok Woonhak you can call me both of those names."

"So you already know about those killers, maybe we can face those people, and avenge for our loved ones. We can't let them just victimize others." Leehan suggested. "I think that is not a great idea yet Leehan. We need to think of a plan." Jaehyun used his leader card. He's really cool when he's serious.

"This could be a bad idea, but try to hit my head so I could remember that missing memory." I know they will say that I'm crazy but we have no choice.

"Are you crazy, Minseo? What if your head heavily damaged from before. What if your memories might completely erased? What if-"

"We have no choice Sungho. I need to remember that other memory. I can't let them involve other innocent people to get killed just because of that book."

"Fine, it's up to you, and I don't want to hurt a girl again, but ok it's your choice."  Sungho shrugged and Taesan wants to say something.

"Ok fine since it's been months since you've stayed here. But remember, you have to recall that memory, and you're our hope." Taesan hugged me, and I felt awkwardly. I didn't expect to do that for me.

Sungho took a short wooden rod. I could read his face that he is worried and afraid. But his actions are colder than the ice. He's afraid of what is going to happen to me. The others too, and Jaehyun & Woonhak doesn't want to look at us.

"Are you ready Hara?" Sungho tries to hold the rod and steadily standing in front me. I'm holding Leehan's hand tightly. It's scary to watch so I closed my eyes to get avoid from the trauma that I had.

"Yes, I'm ready."

"Ugh, I can't watch this!" Jaehyun got scared, and I could sense he would held Woonhak's arm while keeping his eyes hidden.

"Me too." Riwoo said it, but little less scared. I can sense him also that he's worried.

"I'll do it little lightly." He sighed and he raised the rod. I can hear his anxious breathe. I don't want to overthink of what would be the outcome. I can sense the toss of the rod so I even grasped their hands tightly closed. But I can feel the rod.

"I'm sorry Minseo but I can't do it." He stopped? Why did he do that? I almost deserve that. He shouldn't have stop.

"Why did you stop Sungho? You were supposed to do that!" Jaehyun unexpectedly said it in front of his hyung. Everyone gasped at what Jaehyun said. I also couldn't believe what he said too.
