26. Betrayal and Trust

Minseo's POV

My head hurts, and I slowly opened my eyes with a blurry vision. I touched my head and I woke up in a familiar room. It's the same room where Sunghyun and I got kidnapped. I just remembered now. Riwoo is the imposter! How could he? Why would he do that such a thing? He's an innocent and pure boy who is also a sunshine boy. But it wasn't, it's totally opposite!

I still doesn't believe it though. Why did he do that to me? Why is he linked with Jihun? There's no way he would hurt me. He's pure and kind. He's a soft-hearted boy, but it wasn't. He's a guy with "don't judge a book by its cover". I trusted him and yet he betrayed me.

I saw a guy sleeping in front of me. His hands are tied, but not really tied at all, and there are a lot of marked tallies on the wall. Maybe it's about 35 tallies? I'm speculating that was the date after he got here in this cell, trapped. His body similar to Leehan, but it's slightly slim and weak. I also noticed that I also tied with a tight rope. I could barely move my body, and only my head.

"Huh?" The guy is already awake. He sat out and took a stone. He crossed out another tally and I think he sensed me. "Why are you here, Hara?" He said it in a cold tone. "Leehan!? I-I thought you were with your friends? If you're here, then-"

"Yes Hara, that was an imposter. The Leehan that you saw in our house was an imposter." He tried to untie the rope using the stone, and it's almost ripped off. He struggled and struggled until he stopped. "H-how did you- I mean, why did he kidnapped you?" A huge sigh came out of his mouth. He finally untied the rope, and huge mark showed on both of hands. It looks painful though.

"It was the time you and Sungho are arguing about the book. Riwoo and I are trying to get out of the house to buy something. Then, a banging sound was heard so we tried to get inside of the house but we can't." I can see his anger from his beautiful face. I also felt betrayed after he did that to us. He tried to untie me one by one until it got untied. My hands and my feet are free now. I sat on a dirty bed at the corner. Leehan sat at a chair where I got tied.

"Riwoo was in panic and I tried to calm him down. After he calmed down, his face changed. As if his expression changed to a new personality. He got colder and he glared at me. I told him, "Riwoo hyung, are you ok?". Then someone took me into a van, and they forced me to follow them. I tried to escape but it's no use, they have weapons. I felt betrayed. He's a traitor! He wasn't like that after we became friends. There's one more thing though." Leehan stood up and he sat beside me.

"I overheard a conversation that Jihun created a lab and he successfully made his so-called project to manipulate other people. His main goal was to get the book because there are pages that are related to Jihun's project. Also, he wanted to get any valuable inside of it once he took it." I furrowed my brows as I remembered. He wanted my book because there's a secret code that my ancestors could open it, and yes, there's a valuable inside of it. And his another intention is to manipulate using the book? "He created a clone of me and did it successful. That clone is like a twin of me. An exact twin of mine!" He clenched his fist, and another sigh came out of his mouth.

"Wait, so you're saying that the Leehan clone is an exact copy of yours? What if they got captured? Riwoo was there too and- Oh no."

We're doomed.

Riwoo's POV (?)

I slowly walking to the hall, and stopped for a moment. I sensed that Taesan was behind me. He crossed his arms as he already knew about my intentions.

"Sanghyeok hyung..." He called me by that name again. This could be only be one thing, he wanted a serious conversation. "I already knew who is the traitor is, and where's Donghyun? Where did you brought him?" I let out of smirk, and turned my back. I clapped and I let out of grin off my face. I could barely feel guilt after he found out who I really was. "You're one smart boy aren't you? You haven't changed, Dongmin. You're one quick-witted boy." He looked me down as he's disgusted by my tone. "Why hyung? Why did you betrayed us? I thought we're going to help Sungho hyung about Minseo noona?"

I was going to talk but Sungho ran from upstairs. "Minseo is... missing from her room!" He's already panicking. Taesan looked at Sungho, very surprised. He quickly looked at me after. "Did you do this Riwoo hyung?" He held my shoulders and he shakes me. I had a poker face and I smirk. I couldn't help but to laugh. Everyone is confused. "What do you mean Taesan hyung? Was Riwoo hyung linked with Jihun?" Woonhak asked. "Riwoo, we trusted you." Sungho said. "It looks like there's another missing member here."

Jaehyun opened our doors and as soon as he saw Leehan's room. He was shocked as he saw something unusual. I didn't bother to see it. "Leehan was also missing!" Everyone looked at me and they're already mad. I'm still didn't bothered no matter what their emotions are.

"I really appreciate your brain Taesan. If I were you I would have escaped this house by now." Taesan already figured out what I really meant. It's obvious though. "Give me the book and I'll set your friend and Minseo free."

Jihun's henchmen came and I let out a smirk once again.

"Get them."
