Y/N was raised by the Malfoy family since he was left with them as a small boy, over the years they have taught him of their beliefs and morals, most of which Y/N has rejected, but he respects them for raising him instead of casting him...
Daphne was coming back from the days lessons, she had noticed that since the duelling club, Y/N hadn't been in lessons for the rest of the day, as she walked into the Slytherin common room she found Y/N sat in front of a fire, a letter in his hands.
"Are you okay?" Daphne asked as she looked at him.
"Aunt Cissa and Uncle Lucius are coming to visit the school, and then they're taking me home for Christmas... just me. What's more, their visit is...suspicious to say the least. It's no secret that Lucius is against me attending Hogwarts, he would have preferred if I had gone to Durmstrang. So why is he taking such an interest to the point where he's bringing Narcissa with him on a visit." Y/N said as Daphne looked at him. "They haven't told me why they're coming to visit, just that they are."
Daphne sighed and sat next to Y/N, her hand subtly moving to Y/Ns.
"You'll figure things out...you always seem to manage." Daphne said as Y/N smiled at her.
"I hope so, for my sake." Y/N said as he leaned in and kissed her, she smiled as she felt him kiss her on the cheek.
The next day, Y/N was with Draco, Narcissa and Lucius in the headmasters office.
"I'll let you four have some privacy." Dumbledore said as Narcissa nodded gratefully.
Y/N looked from Narcissa, to Lucius, to Draco, and repeated the process.
"So, what's going on here?" Y/N said as Narcissa cleared her throat.
"Why don't you sit down Y/N?" Lucius said as Y/N looked at him.
"I prefer to stand." Y/N said coldly.
"Y/N...please, you'll want to sit down." Narcissa said as Y/N thought for a moment before sitting. "Well? What's this about?"
"Y/N, I...I have looked after you since you were three years old, I have treated you like you were my own child, come to love you like you were my own child, and I will continue to do so regardless of your choice on this matter. Y/N...I want to adopt you. Me and Lucius have discussed it, and he wants to adopt you as well, we've asked Draco and he'd love to have you as his official brother. Is that something you would like?" Narcissa said as Y/N looked at her, he looked to Draco who smiled kindly.

"You...you really...want me in the family? With my...condition?" Y/N asked as Narcissa smiled gently, Draco walked up to him and smiled before embracing him.
"Y/N, you practically are family, why not just make it official." Narcissa said as Draco nodded at him. Y/N looked over at Lucius and for once, didn't see a scowl, or anything, it was like he was torn.
"What about you...Lucius, do you want me in the family? Despite my views and who I call friend." Y/N said as Lucius looked over to him.
"Y/N...I know that you and I haven't always seen eye to eye...but...I am willing to try and make an effort." Lucius said, like it was caught in his throat or something.
"Okay, let's...let's give it a try." Y/N said as Narcissa smiled before hugging Y/N who whispered to himself almost in disbelief... "I...I have a family?"
