[YEARS 1-4]
Y/N was raised by the Malfoy family since he was left with them as a small boy, over the years they have taught him of their beliefs and morals, most of which Y/N has rejected, but he respects them for raising him instead of casting him...
"Look at this! I can't believe it! She's done it again." Hermione stated as she showed Y/N the photo of her hugging Harry hugging. His finger was tapping the table nervously, a detail Hermione noticed but decided to keep on the down low until they could discuss it in private. She began reading the paper aloud to Y/N, Daphne, Harry, and Ron. "Miss Granger, a plain but ambitious girl, seems to be developing a taste for famous wizards. Her latest prey, sources report, is none other than the Bulgarian bonbon, Viktor Krum. No word yet on how Harry Potter is taking this latest emotional blow."
"Lots of things wrong with that, mostly...plain? you're the least plain person here. Besides, you're one of the brightest witches of your age, I think that makes you anything but plain. Skeeter is just trying to get under our skin. At the end of the day, fuck her and everything she prints. If you want I could...have a word with her about it." Y/N said as Hermione looked at him.
"Y/N, I don't think attacking a journalist will do you any favours." Hermione said as Y/N scoffed.
"Morale boost?" Y/N suggested as Hermione clipped him around the ear.
"Don't be an idiot." Hermione said as Nigel arrived with a package.
"Parcel for you, Mr Weasley." Nigel said as he handed the package over to Ron.
"Ah. Thank you Nigel." Ron said as Y/N looked at him.
"Please tell me you plan on paying him or something?" Y/N remarked as Nigel hung around looking between Y/N and Harry. Hermione cleared her throat and Ron turned to face Nigel.
"Not now, Nigel." Ron said as Y/N sighed.
"What's Ronald here promised you Nigel?"
"Yours and Harry's autograph." Ron explained.
Y/N pulled out a pen and wrote his name down on a piece of parchment, before handing the pen and paper to Harry who signed it as well. Y/N handed the paper to Nigel.
"When you find a photo, just hold the paper against the photo and tap it three times, the signatures will transfer over to the photo." Y/N said kindly as Nigel nodded with a smile before rushing off.
Ron opened the parcel and saw it was from his mum.
"Oh, look, mum's sent me something." Ron said, he pulled the contents out and Y/N recognised what it was and what it was for. Ron held it up to himself all while Y/N had his head on the table laughing. "Mum sent me a dress."
That made Y/N laugh even harder.
"Well, it does match your eyes, is there a bonnet? Ah ha!" Harry said as he pulled out a bonnet and people who saw started laughing, Y/N was crying with laughter at Ron not knowing, he was pinching the bridge of his nose laughing couldn't stop.
"Nose down, Harry. Ginny, these must be for you." Ron said as Y/N burst into another fit of laughter.
"I'd be trying to pin that to someone else too if it was meant for me." Y/N laughed as he Ron threw a small roll of bread at him. Harry burst out laughing.
"I'm not wearing that. It's ghastly." Ginny said with made Hermione crack, she finally let the comedy hit her, she was laughing.
"What are you on about?" Ron asked as he turned to see Hermione, Daphne, Harry, and Y/N laughing.
"They're not for Ginny. They're for you." Hermione laughed out, the hall burst into laughter as Y/N shook his head.
"They're dress robes you muppet."
"Dress robes? For what?" Ron asked, not knowing that his question would be answered in his next lesson with Professor McGonagall, while Y/N, Daphne, and Draco had their lesson with Snape.
"Now, with this ridiculous tournament there comes the equally ludicrous tradition of the Yule Ball. Where all three schools gather and celebrate in a dance. I will not have you all crying from embarrassment, disappointment and droning on about broken hearts, it gets incredibly irritating, incredibly fast." Snape said as he looked around at all of the students, he looked at Y/N whose eyes were looking over to Daphne. "So, it is incumbent upon me to teach you how to dance, a skill most of you should have been taught by your parents."
The class all looked at each other, Y/N smirked as he smoked a cigarette.
"Y/N, would you assist me with the music." Snape said as Y/N looked at him.
"At least buy me dinner before asking me to the ball." Y/N said with a chuckle as he stood up and headed over to the radio, starting the record while the class laughed at his remark.
"How witty, Y/N." Snape said dryly as he looked at Y/N with something resembling a smirk. "As you have obviously learned to dance in the past, perhaps you would like to deliver this lesson?"
"I'm a wolf, not a swan." Y/N said as Daphne chuckled to her self.
"Very well, sit down. Miss Parkinson. Would you join me? I want you all to watch, and observe." Snape said coldly as he began teaching Pansy to dance.
Y/N sat at the back of the benches on the side of the room, with Draco next to him as they sang along with the music, acting like two immature children.

They watched as Filch who had brought the radio left the room.
"Oh, Elvis has left the building." Y/N said earning a laugh from Draco, Daphne, and a few others, and a grin from Snape.
"All of you, on your feet and find a partner." Snape said as he watched students stand up and approach one another, a lot of the boys went to approach Daphne until they watched her walk past them and towards Y/N.
"Do you fancy being my partner in todays lesson?" Y/N asked with a smirk as Daphne grinned wickedly.
"Oh absolutely." Daphne said as she took Y/N's hand, he moved his other hand on to her waist and went to move it but she casually stepped on his toe. "I'm a little out of practise."
"Cute." Y/N said as he looked at Daphne with love in his eyes, They danced for the lesson as Y/N saw Draco with Pansy who had a renewed interest in him thanks to his show of dominance at the name announcement. Y/N shook his head. "That girl is dangerous."
"Yeah." Daphne muttered as they danced together until the class was dismissed.
"Mr Wolf, Professor Dumbledore wishes to speak with you, I would advise you not to keep him waiting." Snape said as Y/N nodded. Y/N turned and looked at Daphne.
"Go, before the old man kicks the bucket." Daphne whispered as Y/N nodded, lighting a cigarette and leaving, heading off to Dumbledore's office...
