A Not So Lone Wolf

Y/N was sat in the Slytherin common room, reading as he noticed people staring at him.

"What?!" Y/N asked as everyone went back to doing their own thing.

Draco walked in and saw Y/N was clearly fed up of the looks.

"Y/N, I've got a letter for you." Draco said with a smile as he handed him the letter. "Do you want to come to lunch? I saw Daphne heading there after she left McGonagall's office."

"Sure." Y/N said as he stood up, heading towards the door. when they stepped out of the common room, Y/N lit a cigarette before walking with Draco.

"Aren't you going to read that? It might be important."

"If it was important Moth-Aunt Cissa would have personally come to the school to tell me. It's probably just about Christmas holidays." Y/N said as he put the letter in hi robe. "Anyway, it's my letter, keep your nose out of my business Draco. I don't go looking into your private love letters to Pansy."

"Shut u- hang on... How do you know about them?!" Draco asked as he looked at Y/N.

"Come on Draco, you know what Daphne's like for being kept waiting." Y/N said as he went to rush on ahead with Draco chasing him trying to kick him in the back of the knee.

"You've been reading them haven't you." Draco said as Y/N laughed while running away from his cousin. "I'll bloody kill you Y/N."

"Good luck, the only thing you could kill is a song in the shower." Y/N laughed out as he ran into the great hall from Draco who chased after him trying to trip him up, Draco gabbed him in a headlock and began giving him nuggies on the head as Y/N laughed and pulled away from the hold.

They sat down while laughing. As Y/N sat next to Daphne he smiled at her as she looked around to see if anyone was looking before she covertly kissed Y/N on the cheek.

The next day after the Quidditch match, which Y/N could not attend thanks to that night being a full moon, Harry was in the hospital wing having his bones regrown thanks to Lockhart erasing the bones in his forearm.

Daphne was in the Slytherin common room when Y/N stumbled in, she checked the time and looked out of the window to see the sun rising. Immediately she was up on her feet carrying Y/N over to the couch, she examined him and remembered that they were in public, neither could afford to be seen like this, Y/N especially if he ever became Head Boy again, she picked him up and helped take him over to the hospital wing where Madam Pomfrey was checking on Harry.

"Sorry to interrupt Madam Pomfrey, but can I treat Y/N here, I'd prefer our house mates not seeing him like this." Daphne said as Pomfrey directed her to the bed next to Harry.

 As Pomfrey left Daphne continued treating Y/N.

Later that night Harry felt someone sponging his head.
