Bond, Soul Bond

Y/N and Daphne were finishing with the last of their wounds getting treated while Harry was on his hospital bed covered in plasters. Madam Pomfrey finished her last few checks on Y/N and Daphne, with the young couple looking at one another. The doors opened and Hermione came rushing in, practically jumping onto Harry and hugging him.

"Thank heavens you're all right." Hermione said as she held onto Harry tightly.

"I think it's best we go, I feel sick already." Y/N said as he and Daphne stood up. "Harry, Hermione, it's my duty to remind you both, no shagging. Especially not on that bed." 

That night, Y/N carried Daphne up to her dorm, he went to leave when Daphne spoke.

"Stay, please." Daphne said as Y/N paused before nodding, she had been like this since the lake task.

"Okay." Y/N said as he got into Daphne's bed, wrapping his arms around her protectively as they both went to sleep, the door opened and Bella the cat arrived, looking in and giving a meow before heading into Y/N's dorm room.

It was 6 AM when Y/N and Daphne were awoken by loud bell chimes, they looked at the window and saw a bright glow. Y/N looked out of the window and saw that the glow was coming from the Hospital.

He ran down, conjuring his trousers and putting his shirt on as he ran, he arrived to see Hermione and Harry making out on the bed, but they were both glowing like a patronus.

The teachers arrived, with Dumbledore among them and Y/N looked at him.

"Is that...? Are they...?"

"A soul bond, the mark of true love." Dumbledore said as Y/N was shocked. "The last recorded soul bond was between your mother and Father Y/N."

"Which ones?" Y/N asked in shock.

"Bigby and Snow." McGonagall said as Y/N smiled, he knew his parents love for one another had always been something special. They all looked back to Harry and Hermione who were kissing like they were in their own little bubble world until Harry saw everyone, he held hands with Hermione as they broke the kiss. 

Y/N looked at them and smirked.

"Mooooorning." Y/N said with a cocky grin on his face.

"What just happened?" Harry asked.

"Harry, you and Hermione soul bonded, true love in it's purest form. There are a ton of things for you to learn about, mainly the magic bond between you both now." Y/N said as Harry looked confused.

"Y/N, slow down, what are you on about?" Harry asked.

"A Soul bond is an extremely rare bond between two magical beings. It happens maybe a couple times a century, at best, the last recorded case was my parents. Soul Bonding is acknowledged by the ministry as essentially a legal contract or something a kin to marriage. If you're near to one another, your magical power is exponentially increased, from the fact it's you two, I'd say by tenfold. In the eyes of the law you're both legally emancipated. You're both considered in the eyes of the law as adults." Y/N said as Harry looked at him.

"Mr Wolf, I believe you have morning patrols to carry out, would you do that, I shall finish discussing the bond with Harry and Hermione." Dumbledore said as Y/N nodded, pausing before rushing over and hugging them both.

"Take care you two." Y/N said as he smiled, leaving for the day to start working...
