As the last few hours of the train journey passed by, Daphne put the book down and looked across at her beloved boyfriend, his looking back with adoration, he smiled at her. The door unlocked and Daphne was quick to take her feet off of Y/N's lap and look at the intruder with a neutral look on her face, it was Tracy Davis, one of Daphne's best friends, besides Y/N.
"Tracy. How did you unlock the door." Daphne said as Tracy held her wand up. "Alohamora?"
"Yes." Tracy said as she looked at them. "How are you both feeling after the World Cup?"
"Fine. Just a little pissed off." Daphne said as she looked over at Y/N, smirking before wincing when he felt the pain in his cheek again.
"What about you Y/N? Those look like some nasty scars." Tracy said as Y/N shrugged.
"I've been worse." Y/N said as he looked out of the window for a second.
"There something wrong Trace?" Daphne asked as Davis shook her head.
"No, just checking in on you both." Tracy said as she saw Y/N looking like he was deep in thought. "I'll catch up with you at the feast."
"Okay, take care Davis." Daphne said as she looked to Y/N, noticing the same look Tracy had obviously noticed. "Everything okay?"
"No, I've got a feeling that the World Cup won't be the last we see of Death Eaters this year." Y/N said as he lit a cigarette, standing up, he looked at Daphne and smiled at her before leaning down and giving her a kiss on the forehead.
"I'm gonna go and make sure there's no trouble." Y/N said as Daphne nodded.
"Okay, Y/N...be careful." Daphne said as Y/N looked back at her with his usual cocky grin.
"Anything for you, Love." Y/N said as he left to go and patrol the train.
As the sorting ceremony ended, Y/N looked to Daphne who was sat next to him on his left, she knocked back the water in her goblet before refilling it.
"Thirsty?"
"Parched. And I can't understand why? You know me, it's not like I don't drink enough water." Daphne said as Y/N nodded.
"Maybe go to madam Pomfrey with it, you might have caught something." Y/N said as Daphne nodded. Their conversation was interrupted when Dumbledore approached his podeum.
"Now that we're all settled in and sorted, I'd like to make an announcement. This castle with not only be your home this year, but home to some very special guests as well." Dumbledore said as Filch came running in and along the aisle.
"Blimey, them Rocky sequels have got out of hand a bit haven't they." Y/N quipped loud enough for the hall to hear as Hermione and Harry shook their heads and laughed while some of the other students in the room chuckled to themselves.
Filch and Dumbledore had a brief whisper conversation before Filch went running back out while Y/N whistled 'Eye Of The Tiger'. Dumbledore looked at him from the podium with a slight smirk.
"So...Hogwarts has been chosen to host a legendary event: The Tri-Wizard tournament." Dumbledore announced as whispers spread around the room. "Now for those of you who don't know...the Triwizard Tournament brings together three schools for a series of magical contests. From each school, a single student is selected to compete. Now let me be clear. If chosen, you stand alone. And trust me when I say, these contests are not for the faint-hearted. But more of that later. For now, please join me in welcoming the lovely ladies of the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic...and their headmistress, Madame Maxime."
