The Cursed Vault

Just to Clear things up, Penny's last name is L/N because in the Hogwarts Mystery Game, you can play as yourself, her husband is the player from the game. She is in no way related to Y/N Wolf/Malfoy. I thought I should clear that up for everyone.

Y/N, Daphne, and Hermione arrived at Hagrids hut to find him looking after a child.

"'Ello Y/N, Daphne, 'Ermione." Hagrid said as Y/N smiled at Hagrid.

"Hello Hagrid. What's going on?" Y/N asked as Hagrid looked over to the boy sitting in the corner.

"I caught the Young'un 'ere  this mornin, 'e 'as no clue why 'e was out 'ere." Hagrid said as Y/N looked at the young boy, he knelt down and looked at them, they were unconscious as Daphne looked at them.

"That's Thomas, he's in Astoria's class." Daphne said as Y/N looked at the boy, he opened their eyes slightly and looked at their pupils, shining a light towards him to see if there was a reaction from his eyes.

"Hermione, Daphne, would you take Thomas up to Madam Pomfrey. Penny, you're with me. Tell Pomfrey to do a full analysis of him, I want to know everything that's happened to him in the past few days." Y/N said as he lit a cigarette.

"Where are we going?" Penny asked as Y/N looked at her.

"We're gonna go and have a look at the old cursed vault in the Forbidden Forest." Y/N said as he headed out of the hut as rain began to spit down onto him. "Fucks sake."

Y/N followed Penny through the forest as she led him to the vault.

"Bea's told me a lot about you." Penny said as Y/N looked around.

"All good I hope." Y/N said as Penny chuckled.

"She said you were stabbed by a teacher in your first year, that you're one of the few people keeping the school from turning into a warzone with everything that's going on, that you saved her and a few others." Penny explained as Y/N looked back on the past three years.

"Makes me sound like some sort of hero, truth is...all I've done over the past three years is beat people up in the name of preserving the peace." Y/N said as he looked around. "Seems like that's all I've ever done."

"Why do you keep going then?" Penny asked as Y/N paused for a moment.

"Because if I don't then who's going to protect the innocents from bullies, teachers are great, but they can't be everywhere at once."

"Neither can you."

"I don't need to be. Their fear that I'm about to walk around the corner and give them their own medicine is just as effective as me being everywhere." Y/N said as they heard hooves approaching, Penny turned to look at Y/N.

"Just...let me do the talking." Penny said as Y/N nodded before looking around, an arrow hit the tree next to Y/N, he looked to Penny.

"I'm not sure they wanna talk." Y/N said as he looked for the owner of the arrow.

"Torvus...it's me, Penny! Penny Haywood!" Penny called out as the sound of hooves drew nearer.

Y/N looked for the source but they seemed to be everywhere until a figure arrived, it was a centaur.

"Hello Torvus." Penny said as she looked at the centaur.

"Hello Ms L/N. Who is this you have brought with you?"

"Torvus, this is Y/N Wolf."

"Wolf?!" Torvus instantly became defensive and readied his bow for use.

"No! Torvus, he's not here to hurt anyone-"

"If you are convinced of that then you are as naive as you were when you were a student."

"He's here to help save people. The Vaults have opened. Or at least one of them has. There's a young boy, a second year, he's in hospital right now having been cursed by the vaults. We're trying to save him. And I'm trying to find my Husband...Jacobs sibling." Penny said as Torvus looked at her. "Please. If you don't trust my companion here, trust me, please. For old friends sake."

"Very well...but I will not hesitate to kill him if he tries to attack us." Torvus said as Y/N looked at him.

"I'll try and extend that courtesy to you too." Y/N said calmly as they followed Torvus to the Forest vault.

"This is where the vault is located." Torvus said as Y/N looked around.

"When was the last time it rained heavily around here?" Y/N asked as Torvus looked at him.

"A Week ago." Torvus said as Y/N knelt down and looked at the ground.

"Not rained since?"

"I would have noticed." Torvus scoffed as Y/N felt the damp patch of ground.

"Poor kid pissed himself, in fear I'd guess, unless you got a comedy club around here." Y/N said as he looked around before a clicking could be heard behind him.

"Oh crap." Y/N said as he looked at the huge spiders. "I've got to stop coming into this forest, this is the second year in a row I've encountered this lot. Penny, get inside the vault, have a look around."

A Spider spat a web at Y/N who blocked it with his hand and used his werewolf strength to rip the webbing as he walked towards the spider.

"NO!" Torvus said as Y/N avoided an incoming stab from a spider leg. "Don't hurt it-"

"It may have escaped your notice Red Rum, but it's tryin' to kill us!" Y/N answered before pushing the spider off of him.

"We cannot disturb the balance of the forest."

"What do you want me to do? I'm not snogging it?!" Y/N answered as he avoided the spider's pincers.

"Simply hold them back!" Torvus said as Y/N pushed the spiders off of them and drew his wand.

Arania Exumai

The spiders were repelled by the light and Y/N went into the vault.

He looked around at the scene before looking at it, it had certainly been reactivated, but the question was, who by?

Y/N and Penny left the vault after closing it once again.

"Let's go, before anymore spiders show up." Y/N said as Torvus looked at him. "I didn't hurt them."

Torvus paused for a moment before nodding.

"Come on Penny, let's go back to Dumbledore." Y/N said as he led the way back to the castle...
