Y/N was on patrol, cigarette in his mouth as he walked through the castle, he noticed a few girls pointing and whispering to each other as he passed, one of them, blushed for a moment as he simply ignored them, he continued to walk through the corridor until he found himself in the usually deserted section of the castle, he was about to start doubling back when he heard something, a crying from one of the classrooms, he looked into the room and saw a boy crying in the corner, Y/N acted on instinct, and stepped into the room, he couldn't stand by and watch a child cry, not anymore.
He walked over to the kid who was so caught up in crying that he didn't even notice Y/N. He continued to walk up to the boy and knelt down in front of them.
"Hey...what's...what's wrong?" Y/N asked as he looked at the boy with their head buried in their arms on their knees that were tucked into their chest, obscuring their face from view. "You wanna tell me what's the matter?"
The boy shook their head.
"Alright, I can understand that. You mind if I just stay here for a while?" Y/N said as he sat down with the kid who nodded.
As Y/N sat next to the boy, he thought for a moment, until he looked to his right and saw who the crying boy was. Jorvask.
"Can't resist a crying child hey, Wolf." Jorvask said as Y/N looked at him in shock. "It's not a trap, don't worry."
"I know...why...why didn't you tell someone, you can tell me you know...we may not always be on the same side...but if you're being bullied, all you have to do is tell me and I'll stop them." Y/N said as Jorvask scoffed.
"Why didn't you step in when you saw it the first time then?"
"Because...I was an idiot." Y/N said as Jorvask looked at him. "I thought you didn't care, and you've been paying the price for that mistake...I'm sorry. Who's been doing it?"
"Why do you care? It's a bit late, they've already been at it for the past two years." Jorvask scoffed as Y/N thought for a moment, the boy raised a good point.
"I can't change that...but I can make sure they never do it again." Y/N said as he looked at Jorvask, he stood up and walked to the teachers desk grabbing some parchment, ink, and a quill, he set it up on the table. "I want the names of every person involved in the bullying, I want how many times they've been involved in it."
"Why?"
"Because I'm about to make a mass extension to my shitlist." Y/N said as Jorvask looked at him.
"Come off it Wolf."
"Why do you think I fight you every time I find you picking on someone? Because I'm trying to stop bullying. I don't care who's getting bullied, it's my job to stop the bullying." Y/N said as he looked at Jorvask calmly. "Come on. Let me help you."
Jorvask thought for a moment as he looked at Y/N.
"This...this doesn't make us friends Wolf."
"I know." Y/N said with a smirk as Jorvask began writing down the names of everyone involved.
Y/N sent Jorvask out of the class and looked at the list.
- Milicent Bulstrode
- Blaize Zabini
- Vincent Crabbe
- Gregory Goyle
- Pansy Parkinson
Y/N thought for a moment before putting the list in his pocket and taking it to his quarters to start on the paperwork, writing up incident reports before he pinned the list to a board in the head boy common room.
"What's that?" Daphne asked as Y/N looked at her.
"My shit list." Y/N said as he lit a cigarette...
