Wishes ~ Isagi

Today was your birthday and you were turning 17, you were so beyond excited and you had your whole day planned out just how you wanted it.

First, you would wake up and get ready for the day before going to see your family in he living room, you would open up your presents and you would have the breakfast your mum made you like she did every year.

The next thing is you would go to school like every day and you would be wished happy birthday by your friends and boyfriend and his friends, which you always appreciated and thanked them all for.

Third, your best friend would give you a special lunch that her and her mum prepare for you every year since you were kids and then you would eat it but get too full so share it with her and whoever else wants some.

You would then spend your free period opening the gifts that your friends had gotten you and you would thank them all with hugs and words of gratitude.

Fifth, you would head over to your boyfriends house and you would greet him and his parents, all three of them having gifts for you and dinner for you, you would open your gifts and thank them all before having dinner with the three of them.

And finally, you would spend the whole evening with you beloved boyfriend, playing games, talking about life, school and football until you both got too tired then you would head off to bed.

That was how you planned your birthday to go.

But alas, that's not how it went.

You woke up and looked at the clock, you were late so you ran around getting changed and ready for school before heading down to the living room and not seeing any of your family there or any breakfast like usual so you grabbed some toast and ate it before running off to school.

The next thing was that no one wished you a happy birthday and you honestly started to think that you had gotten the date wrong so you looked at your phone and it was in fact your birthday.

Then came lunch time and you couldn't find your best friend at all so your stomach grumbled loudly and you sighed and checked your phone to see if anyone had messaged and there were no notifications at all.

During your free period, you sat all by yourself under a tree as you worked on some homework that you had recieved the other day, you felt sad and you started feeling worse.

At the end of the day, you went over to your boyfriends house in the hopes that maybe he was there and he could up lift your mood and maybe he remembered your birthday.

You got there and he wasn't in and neither were his parents and you just sighed as you felt tears in your eyes.

Instead of heading straight home, you decided to go for a walk and listen to some music to distract yourself from your own thoughts since you felt like shit and were confused as to how everyone forgot your birthday.

After about an hour, it started getting darker so you decided that it would be a good time to start heading home so that's what you did, you started going home.

As you approached your home, you wiped away some tears that had fallen and sniffled to make sure that there was no snot running down your face.

After mentally preparing yourself and making yourself look half decent, you opened the front door and entered the house, taking off your shoes and your jacket.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" There was loud shouts from loads of people in your house and you screamed in shock and fear as you turned to see who it was.

Standing around a huge table full of birthday presents and a huge cake was your mum, dad, three older brothers, two older sisters, your younger triplet brothers, your best friend and her family, your close friends, your boyfriend and his friends.

Your eyes started to tear up again as Isagi and your best friend, May, walked towards you with huge smiles on their faces.

The pair stopped in front of you and opened their arms for you as you jumped onto the pair of them and tackled them to the floor in a hug.

"You idiots! I thought you all forgot my birthday! God dammit!" You wailed as the two laughed at you and everyone else around the three of you giggled as you got up from the two of offered them your hands.

Once they brushed themselves off, you left the two and went to your friends and family and you greeted them all and thanked them all.

You danced, you drank a little, you opened presents, you ate your cake, you laughed, you did karaoke and you had a blast, it was the best birthday you had ever had.

After you had bid everyone goodbye for the night, you did your usual of heading over to Isagi's house for the night and you, him and his parents headed to his home.

You got there and it was pretty late so his parents went straight to bed whilst you and Isagi planned to watch a few movies before going to bed.

But before you could even get to choose a film, Isagi stopped you and held your hands in his as the two of you looked at each other.

"I'm sorry we kept it from you and upset you but I hope it was all worth it in the end?" Isagi placed his hand on your cheek and caressed it with his thumb before he placed a sweet and loving his on your forehead.

"It was, thank you Yoi. I love you so much" You thanked him with a smile on your face and gleaming eyes, looking into his deep ocean blue orbs and getting lost in them.

"I love you too. That's why I have one more present for you" Isagi smiled and your eyes widened because he had already gotten you lots of things.

He had gotten you your favourite lipstick, mascara, chocolate, sweets, crisps, a beautiful blue dress and another in your favourite colour, heels and some other new shoes, he got you a necklace and a pair of matching earrings.

You were baffled that he even thought about getting you another gift.

He pulled out a beautiful purple velvet box and he opened it with a smile as he watched your reaction.

"It's a promise ring" He told you and you smiled and launched yourself at him as you shared a hug and a loving, passionate kiss before you pulled away and put the ring on.

"This was the best birthday ever" You told him as the two of you laid down together on his bed and cuddled up together as Isagi turned on the TV and you watched a couple movies together.

This truly was the best birthday you had ever had.
