Too Nice ~ Barou

You were known as the nicest girl in school, people knew you and you thought you had loads of friends because everyone would speak to you all the time.

Today was no exception, you were chilling in school, it was break time and you were hanging out with your two friends, Yuki and Mika, the three of you were sitting on a bench, eating various foods and just talking about school.

"Hey, Y/N!! I have a question for you!" One of your various friends, Takahashi, came up to you and slung an arm around your shoulder, you looked up at him and smiled.

"Hey Takahashi, sure thing! Ask away" You nodded and he chuckled, placing a few books in front of you along with a piece of paper.

"Could you please do my homework for Friday please and you're also invited to the football teams party that's happening tonight!" He patted your head then walked away from you, you smiled and places the piece of paper and books in your bag.

"This is amazing!!" You giggled to yourself and decided that you would plan your outfit in your head throughout the day in the hopes you could catch someones attention.

The bell soon rang and the three of you went off to your next class, the three of you gossiping about the party and talking about what on earth the three of you would wear to the party that night.

After a couple more lessons and lunch, you headed to the football field with your friend Isagi as he had football practice and you often went with him, you watch him play whilst you listened to music or whilst you did homework, including other peoples homework.

The two of you lived close to each other and you went to the same middle school and now the same high school so the two of you stick together.

However, you like Isagi as a friend but there was this guy, he wasn't particularly kind to Isagi and he was amazing at football, his name was Barou and you liked him in a romantic way, he had always caught your eye because of not only his football skills but also his intelligence in high school.

Often you would find yourself staring at him whilst he was playing football or sometimes in class when the class was boring or you had already finished your work.

Right now, you were watching him play alongside Isagi, you were silently cheering the pair on as you watched their practice match play out.

Barou's POV:

At the break:

I was standing with the rest of the team, they were all talking about the game we were having next week and also speaking about the party we were having tonight and I stayed quiet.

However, my attention was grabbed when I watched that dumbass donkey, Takahashi, walk up to Y/N and put his arm around her shoulder and give her yet another stack of his homework and a piece of paper which I assumed would be an invitiation to the party we are having tonight.

I rolled my eyes and gritted my teeth as I watched her face light up along with her friends and I shook my head, she didn't even realise that she is being used by everyone, she's too nice to people.

"What are you staring at Barou?" Isagi called out to me and I groaned and put my attention back on the team but I still kept an eye on Y/N, I didn't want her getting hurt by anyone.

"He has a crush on Y/N so he is staring her down" Reo commented and I felt my blood run cold, no one was supposed to know about my feelings for her, I snapped my head towards the group and they all started laughing.
