An old friend ~ Isagi

You had known Isagi for years, you were best friends, you had known each other since you were in middle school and you grew closer in the classes you were in together and eventually it blossomed into a best friend relationship.

The two of you had an amazing bond and everyone would either question if you were dating or if you were siblings but the two of you would always deny it and say you were just friends.

However, you had had a huge crush on Isagi Yoichi for about 2 years and you kept it a secret from him for like a year and a half, you were going to tell him one day but something else happened instead.

You had woken up the morning you were going to tell him but got a text message from him, saying.

Isagi:
Hey N/N-chan! I'm going to be participating in a program called Bluelock and we won't be allowed our phones as far as I am aware so I won't be able to message you for a while. I honestly don't know how long it will take. YOU CANT TELL ANYONE THOUGH!

I will miss you a lot! Make sure you eat your lunches please! And also remember to actually do your homework because I won't be there to remind you. Don't fall behind on your studies whatever you do!

This will be my last message to you for a while. I will message you whenever I can and I will come and see you whenever I can too! Please take care of yourself! x

Your heart shattered at those words and you cursed at yourself for not telling him about your feelings earlier.

Isagi had left you to participate in a program and you weren't yourself without him and everyone noticed.

You acceled in your studies and all your grades went up insanely and you didn't speak to anyone, you avoided anyone and everyone at all costs and only interacted with people when you had to, like when you had to do a project for a class.

Your parents also got worried for you as you didn't really eat properly, you started working out a lot to distract yourself as well as studying and doing homework and projects.

Another thing you did was get a few new peircings and you also dyed your hair.

You hair used to be a beautiful h/c and now it's just jet black after you dyed it, you only used to have your firsts done of your earlobes and now you had an industrial bar piercing, a nose peircing, your seconds and thirds done, your helix done and you also ended up slitting your eyebrow at one point.

You had become pretty much unrecognisable.

It had now been almost 4 months since Isagi had left for that program of his and one day after you came home from school, on the news, there was something about a football match between Japans U-20 team and Bluelock.

Immediately, you booked a ticket so you could go and watch the game, hoping and praying you would be able to see Isagi.

Your mood changed and your parents noticed how you were a little more lively at home but no one at school noticed a difference because you kept your act up.

After another week of anticipation and excitedly waiting for the day of the match, finally it had arrived.

You dressed up in your normal attire, a plaid skirt, fish nets, a black long sleeved shirt, your hair in pigtails with two strands left out in the front and a pair of dr martins.

After making sure you looked fine, you grabbed your leather jacket and rushed out the door, saying a quick 'goodbye, I love you' to your parents as you rushed out the door.

You arrived at the stadium and you took your seat, it was somehow in the second row so you would be able to see the players a little closer than normal.
