Idiot ~ Karasu

You were heartbroken.

Karasu, your boyfriend of 1 year had broken up with you 2 weeks ago, he didn't say why and he just left you in the dark.

You were broken.

You couldn't function properly.

Most of your friends noticed how much you couldn't function, you couldn't focus during classes, you never had an appetite anymore, you didn't go out with your group as much anymore, you mostly stayed to yourself.

You just felt horrible, you were confused, angry, annoyed and broken, your heart always ached when you saw him in class or in the halls.

The feeling would swallow you whole and you just wanted to disappear and never see anyone again.

You just didn't feel like yourself without your other half.

The whole relationship he was perfect, he was sweet, he was kind, he protected you from others, he always defended you, he would take you on dates, he would joke around with you and make you laugh until you cried, he would buy you random gifts and he would love you like no one else could.

When you were on your period, he would come over to your house with a bag full of supplies for you, tampons, pads, chocolates, sweets, your favourite snacks and he would comfort you and treat you like a princess, every single time without fail.

He was your soulmate, he was your other half, your partner in crime, he was the love of your life.

It was painful.

Today was just like all the other days, since you and Karasu split, it was boring, depressing and just plain out annoying, you just wanted to go home and what made things worse was that for some reason, you kept seeing Karasu absolutely everywhere.

He was in front of you on the way to school, he was in the halls during your first period, he was in your second period class, you saw him at break and lunch, you walked past him in the halls on your way to your fifth period class and he was in your last period class.

It was driving you insane and you were going to confront him.

You needed to.

After the bell rang for your final period to end, you packed your things as quickly as possible and you knew he would be the last person to leave along with his friends so you waited behind him.

His two friends, Otoya and Hiori noticed you and looked at you confused, you waved them off and mouthed to them that you would explain later so they quietly left the room.

"Karasu" You called out to him and he looked up at you, he looked awful and your heart ached at the sight of his eye bags, dark circles, puffy eyes and his face looked slimmer along with the rest of him.

"I want to speak to you" You demanded and the boy sighed but nodded, pulling out a chair from the desk next to him, you sat down and he turned to face you.

"Why? Why did you leave? What happened? We seemed fine. I just- I want an explanation at least and after that, I will leave you alone if you want me to" You were fiddling with the hem of your skirt as you looked down at your lap, too nervous and afraid to look up at the boy you loved so much.

"I... I couldn't be with you anymore..." Was all he said before a thick silence absorbed the atmosphere, your head shot up and your eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"What?" You were confused and this brief answer of his wasn't enough of an explanation for you, you wanted to know more.

"I'm not good enough for you... I'm older, I'm immature, I'm not great looking, I'm not strong, I'm obsessed with football, I make stupid jokes. I'm not great at school, I'm stuggling in some classes, I'm just... You deserve better" He spilled out all the reasons and your heart shattered, he left you because he thought you needed and deserved better but that was far from the truth.

"Oh Tabito... You idiot... I love you. You. No one else. You're perfect the way you are, no one else makes me laugh like you do, no one protects me like you do, in my eyes your the most handsome boy on this earth, if you're stuggling with some classes just come and ask for some help, I'll gladly help you! You're not immature and you don't make stupid jokes, all those jokes and little things you do make me laugh and fall in love with you more" You cupped his face in your hands and you dried away the tears that had fallen from his eyes with your thumbs.

"I love you... So so much, Y/N. Will you be mine again, please?" He stared into your e/c orbs with so much love and you couldn't help the sweet smile that appeared on your face.

"Of course you idiot! I love you too!" You laughed and smashed your lips onto his, something that you had missed over these past 2 awful, torturous weeks.

You could finally be with the love of your life again.
