You and Sae had been together for about three years now but, things had changed, he had changed, he wasn't how you had remembered him to be.

He was so cold and distant towards you, he was rude and cruel and you couldn't take how much it hurt you anymore so you decided to talk to him about it.

Today was the day you were going to speak to him so you sat on the couch and waited for the auburn haired male to come home.

Soon enough, said male entered the house, he took off his shoes and he put down his duffle bag, you watched as he did everything without even looking at you once.

"Sae" You called out to him and he snapped his head up, looking at you with furrowed eyebrows and you sighed before opening your mouth to speak.

"We need to talk" The males heart clenched and his mind immediately went to the worst case scenario and that made his heart shatter at the thought.

He nodded his head at your request and he slowly made his way over to you and sat himself down on the couch and looked at you, waiting for you to say what you wanted to say to him.

"You've been very cold and distant, you've been rude and cruel and I don't think you've been thinking about my feelings, Sae. You haven't been messaging, you barely speak to me anymore, I don't get any sort of love or affection or anything for that matter!" You started off and the male gulped, he could tell where this was headed and he didn't like it, not one bit, it hurt him and it hurt him that he was hurting you.

"I'm really sorry, Y/N. I didn't mean to-" Sae started to speak but you didn't want him to make his excuses yet, you wanted to finish speaking first.

"I'm not finished yet" You interrupted him and told him with a stern tone and the male gulped again, being full of nerves and starting to feel anxious as his heart clenched in pain.

"Not only has that been an issue. You have stood me up on so many dates, I've been left alone in the park for 4 hours waiting for you because I thought you were late or held up at practice or that traffic might've been bad. I was left alone in the rain for over an hour because you wouldn't answer your messages so I thought you were coming but you never did. I've stayed up late on countless nights waiting for you and when I wake up, you already came home then left again. Not even a note or a message to tell me you're okay!" Your eyes started welling up with tears and Sae's heart shattered at the sight of you, he felt the guilt and sorrow eating away at him.

"Not to mention all the rude things you've said and all the comments you've made! 'She's getting yet another tattoo today', 'Her mum keeps calling her and she keeps declining, it's getting annoying', 'She made the dumbest comment yesterday', 'She was so moody yesterday' and the list keeps going, Sae! You know, they would've hurt a lot less if you had simply said these things to my face!" You were getting annoyed now, everything he was doing was killing you and hurting your heart so much, it was killing you inside.

You were finshed with your rampage but you weren't done talking yet.

"You know what the only thing that kept me going was?" You looked at him and a few tears left your watery eyes, he looked scared and nervous but you didn't care.

You were sick and tired of being hurt.

"What?" He whispered, you almost couldn't hear it but it was so silent that you could.

"Your brother" Sae's eyes widened at the mention of his brother, he knew Rin liked you and his heart broke at the realisation that his brother might've been trying to get close to you whilst your relationship with him was falling apart.

"He was there for me when I started breaking down because you wouldn't answer and I was worried. Rin was the only one who was at my side when I fell sick because you left me in the rain for over an hour. Rin comforted me when I had issues with my parents and I kept crying and I fell into depression. Rin was by my side when I needed someone to talk to about our relationship and ask advice. Rin was the only person who cared. He cared more than you did, Sae"

You let it all out and your heart broke, you didn't want to do it but you needed to do it.

"I'm breaking up with you Sae. I-I can't deal with all of this anymore! Everything was perfect for the first year b-but throughout this last year you have made me feel so awful about myself and you haven't acted like a boyfriend so we're done" You told him and you watched his eyes widen in shock and horror, he had been expecting it but he hadn't expected it to be this sore and hurt this much.

"Please. Please Y/N! I'm sorry! I'll be better! I'll try harder! Please just don't leave me!" Sae pleaded you but you had already made up your mind a while ago and you wouldn't let him phase you.

"Enough, it's too late for all that now, Sae. I made up my mind and we're done. I hope you realise your mistakes and fix them for your next relationship" You told him as you got up from the couch and went to grab your luggage that you had packed throughout the day and you picked up your phone to message the person you were going to live with now.

There was a knock at the door and you went to open it for Rin, the door opened and he entered the house to help you grab all of your things.

"Rin?" Sae's eyes were wide at the sight of his younger brother standing next to you, helping you grab all of your things and take them out of your shared house with him.

"What? Confused why I am here? Because you've been a shitty boyfriend to her and she's staying at mine because she's got nowhere else to go" Rin explained to Sae as he grabbed two rucksacks and to suitcases whilst your grabbed a rucksack and three bags and two suitcases as well.

"Goodbye, Sae" You bid your farewell to him and you left the house with Rin, putting your things into the back of the car.

"You're the best, Rin" You wrapped your arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around your waist, you smiled up at him and felt happier than you ever have in the past year.

"You sure you want to do this?" He asked you, making sure that you were sure of yourself before you made your final decision, you nodded your head as a final decision.

"I am one hundred and ten percent sure that I want this, Rin. Over the past year, you've shown me that you can treat me better than Sae did and you made me fall in love with you, with how sweet you are, how much you care for me, how many times we've gone out to just chat, everything" You confirmed your decision with him and you went onto your tiptoes and locked your lips with Rin's in a sweet and love filled kiss.

While this was going on, Sae was watching from the window and he had a bitter smile on his face.

"I'm sorry I couldn't treat you right... He will treat you better... I'll kill him if he ever hurts you" He muttered to himself as he beat himself up over how he treated you and how he let you slip through his fingers.
