Better Then Ever ~ Kunigami

You had known Kunigami ever since you can remember and you fell in love with him when you were 14 years old and he asked you out when you were 15.

Two years you had been dating now and your bond was the strongest thing ever and your relationship meant everything to you.

He was the only person who made you feel like yourself and made you happy, he was the only person who you liked to talk to and got along really well with.

He was the most perfect person in your eyes and you honestly couldn't imagine yourself without him in your life.

The two of you played football together, him being a forward and you being a defender, the two of you would train and practice together all the time and it was some of the best times of your life.

Along the way though, you had gotten asked to join Bastard Munchen and both you and Kunigami agreed it would be a great opportunity for you.

You left Japan and went to Germany and whilst you were away, Kunigami got chosen for a program called Bluelock and you congratulated him and told him he was the best and other encouraging words.

Eventually, you were informed that you and your team would be going to Japan to also take part in Bluelock.

By this point, you had made friends with Ness and Kaiser and you had already made a name for yourself as one of the Next Gen 11 as a defender alongside 'The Ace Eater', Lorenzo.

You were excited to go to Bluelock and get to meet all the Bluelockers and also to see your boyfriend again.

Once you arrived, you all settled into your rooms before heading off to an obstacle course that the Bluelockers and Bastard Munchen.

You waited patiently for a few minutes before the doors opened and in came the Bluelockers who had chosen Germany, you scanned the bodies and you spotted your boyfriend amongst the players.

His eyes widened slightly as you waved with a smile on your face.

It was explained to everyone that they would be doing the obstacle course and off you all went, you were sat at the front alongside Kaiser.

You decided to have a quick look back at you were right, most of the Bluelockers were at the back, the only one who wasn't was Kunigami as he was right behind you and Kaiser.

A smile made it's way onto your face as you continue on with the course and finish up with a beautiful final kick.

Once you were done and had seen Kunigami finish right behind you, you made your way to an open spot and sat yourself down on the fake grass, your boyfriend spotted you and made his way over to you.

Kunigami sat himself down next to you and you fully got to take in his features, he looked different.

He seemed more down and sad than he used to be, he seemed very emo, his hair was longer and he was a lot more muscular.

"You went through the wild card. Didn't you?" You questioned your boyfriend as you stared ahead, watching as more people finished the obstacle course.

"How do you know about that?" Kunigami was confused as to how you of all people knew about wild card.

"I was told that we would be getting a Bluelocker who went through serious training in wild card and that the specific player isn't how they used to be" You explained it to him and he watched and listened to you intently like he always did whenever you spoke.

"I was scared that it was you and you might not have been yourself anymore... So I asked for a name and obviously it was yours. However, seeing your reaction to seeing me here just proved that you're still my Kunigami Renuske that I fell in love with all those years ago" You finally turned to look at him, a soft and loving smile on your face and you watched as his eyes softened for you and he smiled every so slightly.

It made your heart flutter and your legs go weak as you remembered how much you loved and adored him.

"I love you" He muttered under his breath so no one else could hear the two of you.

"I love you too Renuske" You said back to him but your moment was rudely interrupted by Kaiser causing a scene.

You sighed heavily as you got up from your place and stormed over to Kaiser and Isagi to split them up and stop the nonsense.

Kunigami watched your figure with a tiny smile and his heart fluttered.

He felt better than ever to have you by his side again.
