Forever ~ Sae

You were brought up in a world where you and your soulmate could communicate through your thoughts.

When you were young, you could hear absolutely anything and everything your soulmate thought and it annoyed the hell out of you when you were a kid but as you both grew up, the two of you learned to control what you did and didn't say through your minds.

You shared a strong bond with your soulmate, you learned his name when you were both able to actually communicate properly.

He knew you, L/N Y/N.

You knew him, Sae Itoshi.

The two of you spoke daily and never once was it boring or annoying, even as the two of you grew up, you still spoke everyday and he told you everything.

He told you of his dreams to become the best striker and then he told you his dream changed and he wanted to be the worlds best midfielder and you supported him.

You saw him on the news a few times and you were overwhelmed by his beauty and the amount of fangirls he had scared you.

Sae and you had never met before and he didn't know what you looked like but he knew your personality and he loved you for that and not your looks so that calmed you a lot but it still scared you, the thought of meeting him.

Sae had asked you to meet him since he would be in Japan for a while and he asked you to meet him at a local cafe, you agreed to go and he told you that he would be wearing a red hoodie with a black cap so people didn't recognise him straight away.

The day grew closer and closer and the minutes ticked away as you decided on what to wear.

After 2 hours of going through your closet and trying to find the perfect outfit to wear, you settled on something that you liked.

Once you were finally ready to go, you grabbed your little bag, your keys, phone and purse before heading out of the door and making your way to the cafe.

As you walked down the street, you listened to the sounds of the wind sweeping past your hair, the birds chirpping and children playing in the nearby park as you smiled to yourself and started singing your favourite song in your head.

You always sing that, don't you?

You chuckled to yourself at what Sae said to you through your mind and shrugged your shoulders, even though he couldn't see you.

It's my favourite song, what do you expect Sae?

You shook your head and continued walking until you got to said coffee shop that you were meeting him at.

As you approached the shop, your heart started racing, your palms started sweating and you grew very panicked.

What if he doesn't like me?

What if he hates my outfit?

What if he thinks I'm ugly?

Oh my god! Do I look okay?!

Your mind was racing.

Just get in.

You shook all the thoughts away and did as Sae said, opening the shop door and entering, you scanned the place and immediately spotted your soulmate.

He was sitting on his own, nothing at the table and he was wearing exactly what he had said he would wear.

You slowly approached his table and tapped his shoulder lightly to catch his attention, he turned around and he looked at you.

Is that you?

You chuckled and nodded your head before stepping into the booth he was at and took a seat right across from him.

"What do you want?" Sae questioned you and you looked at him blankly, raising an eyebrow at him as you were confused by his question.

"Take whatever you want, I'm paying so decide on what you want" He told you and you let his words sink into your head quickly before shaking your head at him, causing him to raise at eyebrow at you.

"I can pay for myself Sae, it's okay" You told him and you watched as he rolled his eyes at you.

"No. We're on a date and I am paying. I've got a shit ton if money that I don't spend and I want to spend it on you so let me" He told you with his arms crossed over his chest and the way his eyes were trained on you made your heart flutter.

"Okay but just this once" You pointed your small, lean finger at him and you could see the corner of his mouth turn upwards into a smirk.

"More than just this once. You can't win with me, love" He told you and you huffed before the two of you ordered what you wanted and chatted whilst you drank and ate what you had gotten.

The two of you finished up after about 2 hours, which felt like 30 minutes, and Sae paid for your things.

After, he insisted on walking you home so you just let him because he refused to let you go alone and he walked by your side anyway.

As the two of you walked back to your house, you continued talking about anything and everything, from your favourite colour to football to family life, school etc.

Once you reached your house, Sae held your hand and you turned to him.

"Here's my number. I expect you to call me everyday and have chats like we did today. I had fun, I really like you, Y/N" Sae handed you the small piece of paper and gave you a sweet kiss on the forehead and cheek before he left you alone, completely dumbfounded.

You shook your head and smiled as you looked at his back as his figure disappeared into the evening.

I like you too. Idiot.
