...
"Well you all look drained"
A monotone voice said.
He barely glanced up from his book, able to tell their constitution just based on how they walked in from their previous class.
It was obvious they were tired.
"Professor Midoriya...
Are we really going to do another study lab today...?"
Kirishima said, barely able to lift his head off the table.
He stood up, staring at his class without interest.
The classroom was dim, and very old timey compared to every other classroom in the school.
The students were seated in elevated rows of wooden tables and steps.
Around them were many formulas, microscopes, and many other tools that filled the room.
Midoriya liked the traditional look of it.
He let out a drawn sigh, "Aizawa did say he made the test hard." He said dully. "I know how draining he can be as well" he muttered under his breath. "And I would prefer all the time I could get to finish this book" he thought to himself.
He shook his head, "...no I can't do that."
He said, not loud enough for anyone to really hear.
The class waited in anticipation, they had yet to really understand what their teacher was like. They didn't know if he was relaxed but strict, they didn't know if he was the hard work type, they didn't know if he was the "no such a thing as breaks" type, or anything really.
Midoriya sighed, "today's lesson will be quick.
15 minutes maximum.
After that you'll have a homework assignment that you may choose to do with the remaining time of class. Other than that, we will be doing nothing.
Pull out your notebooks and your textbook and turn to page 34.
Today's mini lesson(a continuation of the last): Quirk origins.
You'll be learning about how quirks occurred and the public's general reaction.
We will go more in-depth another day. seeing as how no one will be able to pay attention today, wasting my time teaching a full lesson where no one will learn is pointless. I'd much rather not waste my time. "
He said, his eyes glancing back at his book which he had left on his desk.
He walked over to the board, despite his wishes for a traditional chalk board, he was forced to use the smart ones.
He took a deep breath in and got to teaching the quick mini lesson. He went into depth for the first 7 minutes, explaining in detail how quirks occurred. But after that, he skimmed over details and briefly mentioned topics that would later be discussed.
After that, he handed them their homework and ended the lesson.
The class was grateful, they had never expected for their professor to be so odd though.
It was uncommon for teachers at UA to be so lax on how they taught their lessons, though he couldn't really be classified as a teacher.
He was a professor for a reason.

"It looks like you don't plan to be nice to your students this year either"
Midoriya said, walking into the teacher's lounge.
He stood quite tall, having to slightly lower his head to enter the room as the door also happened to be a bit short.
He was 5'10, above average but not extremely tall.
"I didn't like your teaching style"
Aizawa replied, taking a sip of his coffee.
"You're too careless. And when I was in your class, you let students get away with one too many things."
He shook his head.
"Why should I care about how the student values their education.
It's truly up to them, and I cannot force someone to learn. All I can do is present the information, but whether or not someone decides to take it in and benefit themselves isn't in my control.
