Chapter 22: Class Battle

"He needs to find where he needs to get better
that's the only way he has a chance against AFO."
Midoriya thought to himself as he saw the other team approaching rapidly.
He scanned them all, but before he could get a read on who was there, he was attacked with their quirks.

His team was quick to defend but it didn't stop the attack from reaching.
Though, it was all in vain as the attacks didn't effect Midoriya at all.
Sticky cement was launched at a canon, aimed straight at Midoriya's face.
He absorbed it, his face and eyes glowing as the cement vanished from thin air.
Insects that were launched at Midoriya were sent back as Midoriya absorbed the control and controlled the bugs to be sent back to Koda.
His team engaged in battle, fighting in the formation they said they would.

Sero and Kaminari danced around eachother, avoiding each other's quirks while simultaneously trying to bypass to reach their targets.

As Midoriya continued to absorb the quirks, he felt as though something was off.
"Where's Bakugo-"
Before he could even finish his train of thought, he was sneak attacked.

Bakugo cut through the air, kicking the backside of Midoriya's head.
Before Midoriya could react Bakugo quickly landed.
Defense ran to battle him but they found themselves in battle with the other team members.

Midoriya turned around sharply and found Bakugo standing there, ready to attack. And he did.
He launched straight at Midoriya, not once using his quirk directly at him as he usually would. He tried to punch Midoriya but he blocked, he quickly flew back before he could be attacked with anything Midoriya had up his sleeve.

Midoriya raised his hand out and absorbed as much of the explosion as he could within the range he had before Bakugo pounced again.
He closed in range and threw several punches.
Midoriya dodged every single punch before ducking completely and sweeping Bakugo off his feet.
Bakugo fell to the ground and quickly rolled to the side, avoiding sticky cement that he had launched from his hand.

The cement splattered on the ground as Bakugo quickly got back up and went straight to attacking.
He flew upwards and launched a kick straight for Midoriya's chest.
Midoriya grabbed his leg and flung him away, aimed straight at the incoming offense that was close to beating defense.

Bakugo used his explosions to regain control of himself and snatched Kaminari from the ground. He flung him straight into Midoriya's defense, "ACTIVATE YOUR ELECTRICITY DUNCE FACE"
he screamed as Kaminari flew through the air.
Bakugo landed and watched as Kaminari landed in the middle of Midoriya's defense, shocking the group.

"I think... I'm out"
Kirishima groaned, on the ground and unable to move.

"...me too..."
Sero said.

Bakugo grinned, charging once more. This time he was no longer alone in his attacks.

"...Lock in, professor"
Sero groaned, slowly shutting his eyes.

Midoriya shook his head, mentally face palming, as Bakugo charged in with Kaminari and uraraka.
Uraraka quickly went around to the knocked out defense and made them float, keeping them out of the way.
Bakugo and Kaminari went to directly attacking Midoriya before they were joined by Yaoyorozu who attacked from a distance.

"I still have to allow one way of winning."
Midoriya thought to himself, mentally struggling with the instruction to hold back.
One side of him wanted to challenge Bakugo, to push him to his limits. But the other side of him knew that if he continued the way he was going that the other team wouldn't have a way of winning.

Bakugo flew straight at Midoriya and at the same time, Kaminari charged straight for him- his electricity active.

Bakugo threw a punch but Midoriya grabbed his arm and flipped him. At the same time, Kaminari started to punch Midoriya with electric punches to the chest.
Midoriya remained unaffected by the electricity, absorbing it, whilst blocking Kaminari's punches.
