...

"Just thinking Hawks"
Midoriya replied, looking at the setting sun ahead.
Hawks stood behind him, also admiring the view of the sky.

"I saw you while I was flying around. I thought it was you and I was right.
What're you doing up here? Don't have your concoctions to be brewing?"
Hawks laughed, sitting down beside him.

"I wanted to clear my thoughts. Figure out what I want to do. And I already made enough concoctions today"
Midoriya replied with a slight chuckle.

"What's been bothering you?"

"Nothing that'll concern you. Just personal matters that I haven't been able to fix throughout the last couple centuries"
Midoriya sighed.

"Ah makes sense. Well I would tell you to get down from here since it's pretty dangerous but well, danger doesn't really apply to you"
Hawks said.

Midoriya didn't reply, still deep within his own train of thought. He stared at the street below, as though he were viewing the world from large windows rather than his own eyes. He could see the people below, everyone leading their own lives each with their own stresses.

"I won't give him a response now.
...I'll think about it...

If I truly can't protect UA and Bakugo without joining AFO, then I'll join him and jeopardize his plans.

But.
If I can protect them without the use of committing evil, then I'll stay away"
Midoriya thought to himself, standing up.

"be careful, one wrong step and you'll fall"
Hawks warned as Midoriya backed away from the ledge upon standing.

"I'm aware.
Though, it's a shame something simple like this can't kill me"
Midoriya said, a tinge annoyed at the fact.

"I imagine being immortal after this long would probably suck. But hey man, don't die.
The world needs you"
Hawks said with a warm smile.

Midoriya didn't reply, only sighing and looking off into the distance.

"now that you're done with whatever that was- I heard there was a commotion at UA today."
Hawks chuckled.

"there was.
A very annoying one at that"

"yeah you're like all over Japan's news articles right now.
They're talking about how you jumped over the news reporters to enter and how you called the police on them. Also how you refused to answer questions despite your status."
Hawks explained.

"they accidentally discovered my identity after they saw my lab coat. I didn't answer any questions to avoid encouraging an interview. Of course they didn't take that well"
Midoriya replied.

"sounds very annoying indeed.

I usually avoid most news reporters off-shift by avoiding the streets.
You'll never catch me walking around Tokyo, flight is the only way to go to avoid them"
Hawks laughed.

"I'd imagine you'd have it a lot more worse than I do.
They've been surrounding you since your debut at UA. I was forgotten about with time"
Midoriya commented.

"yeah, crazy how that works. You were among the top ten heroes just a little over a century ago, yet not many people know that. "

"I don't look like someone who's been alive for that long.
Besides, I never enjoyed the spot light."

"well good luck since you're going to be back in the spot light for a while. At least until something new happens"
Hawks laughed, stretching his wings out.
