Almost There

As it turns out, carrying a hyper little boy on your shoulders is significantly easier than helping a full grown man walk through the snow after he expended all of his energy on a battle. It became even harder when the previously mentioned little boy tries to "help."

Saya learned this all on the last stretch to the Western Harbor. The three of them tramped through the snow with Saya more or less carrying the entire party. When the harbor came into view, she almost collapsed with joy.

Now was where the tough part came in. How do you get an incapacitated harbinger, a toddler with a monster living inside him, and some random girl into a crowded harbor? This wasn't even accounting for the fact that there were probably warrants out for their arrest at this point. That, and the fact that they needed to convince someone to actually take them to Liyue.

Easy enough after all the who-knows-what that they had been through.

"Ajax," Saya poked the man in the side and he grumbled something sleepily in response.

"Ajax..." Saya said again, hitting him this time. She probably should have been more patient with him but she didn't have time for that. Again, he didn't stir more than a few groggy complaints.

"Ajax!" She threw her arms in the air and let him fall into the snow. Chongyun crawled over in the snow and poked his head a few times.

"What... Waz happenin' now? Who- What happened?" He slowly sat up and rubbed his hand across his face. "Oh, yeah... all that."

He sat there silently for a few moments, probably piecing back together what had happened earlier that day.

"Okay," Saya clapped her hands together to get the boys' attentions. "We are going to need to get a boat to take us to Liyue and currently we are all criminals and one of us just killed a harbinger."

"Not my fault," Ajax grabbed onto a small tree and pulled himself to his feet. "He was asking for it."

"Doesn't matter," Saya continued. "Since the only one of us with any claim to their name is currently useless and wanted, we are going to sneak our way onto a boat. Our story as we go through the harbor is that we're a trio of siblings traveling through Teyvat and our oldest brother is wasted. Sure, we don't look related, but it's fine. We just need to get on to a boat fast."

Chongyun gave Saya two thumbs up, but Ajax seemed significantly more skeptical. There was no time for any of that now though. They just needed to get out of here.

"Alright, let's go." Saya Grabbed Ajax and he slung his arm around her shoulder. Chongyun reached up and Saya held on tight to the little boy's hand. He was so small now. They had gotten away from the labs and the constant yin flowing into his veins, yet he was still getting smaller and smaller. By the time they got to Liyue, he might be nothing more than an infant.

They needed to hurry.
