Astrid's P.o.v

It was the morning after Taylor's incredible concert, and I woke up to see Elijah laying beside me with his arms wrapped around me. I gently woke him up and we exited the bed and got dressed. After we got dressed, we went to the kitchen where Taylor was and she was cooking pancakes, one of my and Elijah's favorite breakfast foods.

"How did you two sleep last night?" Taylor asked us, "I slept good." Elijah replied, "I slept pretty good asides from getting a nightmare." I answered, "Do you remember what it was about, or want to tell me?" Taylor asked me gently, "It was about my birth dad, Travis," I said, causing Taylor to look slightly worried, "What happened?" Taylor asked me, which caused me to reply with, "It was the night of my birthmom, Luna's, death."

"Was that all that you dreamt?" Taylor asked curiously, "No, after he got released from prison... he came to our house and tried to kill me and you." I said shakily, "Don't worry I'll protect you if it ever happened." Taylor said, "and I'd protect both of you." Elijah added. Taylor dropped the topic and we ate her delicious pancakes for breakfast.

"Is there anywhere you'd like to go to?" Taylor asked me, "Yes, the mall." I replied, "Great!! I'll make sure that security is ready." Taylor said before going to find her security. "What do you think about being adopted by Taylor?" Elijah asked me, "I've loved it, it is a change with all the paparazzi." I told Elijah, "I'm happy that you're with me." I added, "I'm glad that you're here with me too." Elijah said before smiling at me.

"I'm back," Taylor stated, "We'll be able to leave in five minutes, then we'll go shopping." Taylor said, "Thanks for this." I told her, "No problem." Taylor replied. We talked 'til it was time to go to the mall. As we drove closer to the mall, I saw hundreds of people who were waiting to see Taylor. "Remember to put these on," She says handing us sunglasses, "Don't answer any questions." Taylor adds.

When we exit the SUV we're surrounded by flashing lights and screaming fans. "Taylor! Are you going to be preforming at next year's SuperBowl?" One paparazzo asks, "I plan on doing it in the next few years." Taylor answers, "Taylor! Are you preforming in Canada or Mexico on the Reputation Stadium Tour?" Another paparazzo asks, "The tour will be international." Taylor replies.

After we entered the mall, Taylor led me and Elijah to Old Navy, and she shows us clothes including jeans, two crop tops and tank tops for me, t-shirts, and sweatpants. "That will be 98.75." The cashier said. Causing Taylor to pay before we headed to the next store.

We ended up going to a record store and I began looking at the albums. "There's my albums." Taylor said pointing out Reputation, 1989, and Red. I continued browsing and grabbed the "Thriller" and "Invincible" albums. "Can I get these?" I asked Taylor, "If you're going to get the albums you might need a record player." Taylor said grabbing an Audio Technica record player. "That will be 275.88" the cashier said. Taylor paid before saying "Thank you, and have a nice day." Taylor told the cashier.

After going to five more stores, and getting thirty-four t-shirts for me and Elijah (seventeen each), six cardigans for me, twenty-five pairs of pants (Ten jeans and fifteen sweatpants) for me and Elijah, and eight sweaters for me and Elijah (four each), we went home.

"Thank you Taylor." Me and Elijah said, "You're welcome Elijah and Astrid." She replied. Me and Elijah put away our clothes and talked together.

Taylor's P.o.v

While Elijah and Astrid were talking I finished recording "Cornelia Street" in my home studio, and began recording lyrics for "ME!" while writing then on a page of paper.

I promise that you'll never find another like me

I know that I'm a handful, baby, uh
I know I never think before I jump
And you're the kind of guy the ladies want
(And there's a lot of cool chicks out there)
I know that I went psycho on the phone
I never leave well enough alone
And trouble's gonna follow where I go
(And there's a lot of cool chicks out there)

But one of these things is not like the others
Like a rainbow with all of the colors
Baby doll, when it comes to a lover
I promise that you'll never find another like

Me-e-e, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
I'm the only one of me
Baby, that's the fun of me
Eeh-eeh-eeh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
You're the only one of you
Baby, that's the fun of you
And I promise that nobody's gonna love you like me-e-e

After forty-five minutes in the studio, I checked in on Elijah and Astrid, who were laying on the couch in the living room. I joined them on the couch. "I've began working on a new album and want your thoughts" I told Astrid and Elijah, "Here's the first song I recorded." I said before pressing play and "Cruel Summer" began playing.

Fever dream high in the quiet of the night
You know that I caught it
Bad, bad boy
Shiny toy with a price
You know that I bought it

Killing me slow, out the window
I'm always waiting for you to be waiting below
Devils roll the dice, angels roll their eyes
What doesn't kill me makes me want you more

And it's new, the shape of your body
It's blue, the feeling I've got
And it's ooh, whoa, oh
It's a cruel summer
It's cool, that's what I tell 'em
No rules in breakable heaven
But ooh, whoa oh
It's a cruel summer
With you

Hang your head low
In the glow of the vending machine
I'm not dying
You say that we'll just screw it up in these trying times
We're not trying

So cut the headlights, summer's a knife
I'm always waiting for you just to cut to the bone
Devils roll the dice, angels roll their eyes
And if I bleed, you'll be the last to know

Oh, it's new, the shape of your body
It's blue, the feeling I've got
And it's ooh, whoa, oh
It's a cruel summer
It's cool, that's what I tell 'em
No rules in breakable heaven
But ooh, whoa, oh
It's a cruel summer
With you

I'm drunk in the back of the car
And I cried like a baby coming home from the bar (oh)
Said, "I'm fine, " but it wasn't true
I don't wanna keep secrets just to keep you
And I snuck in through the garden gate
Every night that summer just to seal my fate (oh)
And I screamed for whatever it's worth
"I love you, " ain't that the worst thing you ever heard?
He looks up grinning like a devil

It's new, the shape of your body
It's blue, the feeling I've got
And it's ooh, whoa, oh
It's a cruel summer
It's cool, that's what I tell 'em
No rules, in breakable heaven
But ooh, whoa, oh
It's a cruel summer
With you

I'm drunk in the back of the car
And I cried like a baby coming home from the bar (oh)
Said, "I'm fine, " but it wasn't true
I don't wanna keep secrets just to keep you
And I snuck in through the garden gate
Every night that summer just to seal my fate (oh)
And I screamed for whatever it's worth
"I love you, " ain't that the worst thing you ever heard?

The song ended, "I think it's great." Elijah said, "I agree with Elijah, It's really good." Astrid agreed. We aldo listened to "The Man" and "Cornelia Street". Both songs Astrid and Elijah really liked. We spent the rest of the day playing board games and watching movies before we all went to bed.
