Chapter 10

Astrid's P.o.v

It had been a few days since we went to the beach, and Taylor's been massaging Harry often. I think they're going to fall in love. I mean why else would you almost constantly message him. Me and Elijah have become really close siblings and have a very close bond. Me and Elijah are over at Selena's house and are playing tag with Ryan and Emily.

I was running quickly with Elijah running right behind me while we were running from Ryan who was it. Elijah and I slowed down our pace as we found a spot to catch our breath. We stood there for two minutes, before we heard Ryan who was running towards us. We took of sprinting as my long brown hair blew in the wind.

I heard Elijah laugh as we were running from Ryan. After a minute of running we saw Ryan tag Emily and start running from her. We were waiting for Emily to run towards us, and she did. I began running when I suddenly began having flashbacks of running from my abusive birthdad. I felt myself going pale. "Astrid. Astrid! Are you ok?" I hear Elijah say before everything fades to black.

Elijah's P.o.v

As we were running I saw Astrid begin to turn pale. "Astrid. Astrid! Are you ok?" I say to her before she blacks out. "Emily and Ryan, go get Taylor and Selena!" I yell to them, as I hold Astrid in my arms.

After a minute or two I hear footsteps get closer to me, I look up and see Selena and Taylor walking towards me. "What happened to her?" Taylor calmly asks me, "I think she had a flashback. She went pale then blacked out." I tell Taylor, who's trying to gently wake up Astrid.

After a few minutes Astrid's eyes flutter before slowly opening. "Where Am I?" Astrid asked confused, "You're at Ryan and Emily's house, and you were playing tag, then you blacked out." I told Astrid as I run my hand through my shoulder length blonde hair.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you guys. I just had a flashback of running from my abusive birthdad." Astrid said, which caused my heart to slightly break. I know that probably broke Taylor's heart to hear Astrid say that. "You don't have to worry about him anymore." Taylor said, while she gently hugged Astrid.

"I love you Taylor." Astrid said as Taylor was hugging her. "Oh, and by the way thank you Elijah." Astrid said to me, "Don't thank me, you should thank Emily and Ryan, they're the ones who got Taylor and Selena." I reply, "Well, then thank you Emily and Ryan." Astrid says.

Astrid's P.o.v

"Where Am I?" I asked confused, "You're at Ryan and Emily's house, and you were playing tag, then you blacked out." Elijah informed me, while he ran his hand through his shoulder length blonde hair. "I'm so sorry I didn't mean to scare you guys. I just had a flashback of running from my abusive birthdad." I tell them, causing Taylor to reply with "You don't have to worry about him anymore." While giving me a hug, "I love you Taylor." I said to her as she hugged me,

"Oh, and by the way thank you Elijah." I said to Elijah, "Don't thank me, thank Emily and Ryan, they're the ones who got Taylor and Selena." Elijah replied, "Well, then thank you Emily and Ryan." I say to them, "Come on, let's get you inside." Taylor said to me, "Then you all can get lunch." Taylor said to all of us, before she sat down on the couch in Selena, Ryan and Emily's living room.

After we all got lunch we played some video games for two hours, before Taylor said it was time for us to go home. "Bye Ryan, Emily, and Selena. Hopefully we can see each other soon." Elijah said to them, "Hopefully we can see you guys soon." Selena said, before we exited the front door and were surrounded by flashing lights and paparazzi.

"Please give me your hands." Taylor said, causing us to hold hands with her as we walked through the crowd of paparazzi and flashing lights. Taylor closed the SUV's door after we got in, and started on the ride home. "Astrid, please try not to scare me and Selena like that. If you can please try to tell someone that you're about to blackout or have a flashback." Taylor says calmly to me, "I'll try my best." I reply.

After twenty minutes, we arrive at our house and Taylor thanks her driver. We walk into our house and Taylor asks us if we'd want to go to her home studio and help her with new songs for "Lover". After five hours pass, we leave the home studio and Taylor begins making dinner. Me and Elijah try to help Taylor when we can.

Dinner is homemade Mac and Cheese, which is amazing. Taylor could be a chef if she wanted to, I think to myself. "Mmm... that's so good." I say, "I agree, Taylor this is the best Mac and Cheese I've ever had." Elijah added. Taylor smiled at our nice comments. Once dinner was finished me and Elijah went to the studio and began recording a song together that I wrote, I titled it "Starlight Serenade".

Verse 1:

After I finished singing, I heard Taylor clap her hands. "I'll have to try to get you a record deal." Taylor says cheerfully, "I'd love to do that." I reply. Afterwards we watched Friends with Meredith and Olivia on our laps.

I gently stroked Meredith's fur causing her to softly pur. After watching three more episodes of Friends it was 10 PM, so me and Elijah went to bed.

"Astrid, remember that if you ever need anyone to talk to that isn't Taylor, I'm here for you. Whether that is bullies, insecurities, or anything, I'm here for you." Elijah says enveloping me in his arms for a gentle hug.

Elijah's P.o.v

As we were about to go to sleep, I said something to Astrid, "Astrid, remember that if you ever need anyone to talk to that isn't Taylor, I'm here for you. Whether that is bullies, insecurities, or anything, I'm here for you." I gently wrapped my arms around her and hugged her. We crawled into the bed, and drifted off to sleep, my arms around her protectively.
