Chapter 30: Taylor's Birthday

Today's the day, It's my 29th birthday. When I woke up, I saw Harry waking into the room with a platter of food.
"Thought you might want breakfast in bed, I mean it is your birthday." Harry spoke, before gently placing the platter on my lap. "Thank you." I said thanking him for the gesture of kindness.
"You're welcome babe." Harry replied, giving me a kiss on my forehead. I started eating the food and Harry did a good job cooking. After a few minutes I finished the breakfast that he had made me, and Harry took the platter from my lap. I stretched, before getting out of bed.

I grabbed a pair of track pants and a grey hoodie. I quickly changed before walking downstairs, where I was met with the sight of Andrea making breakfast.
"Happy birthday Taylor!" She excitedly said, before wrapping me into a hug.
"Thanks mom." I said while hugging her. I then noticed that my dad was sitting at the island with Selena and Harry. After my mom released the hug, I hugged my dad. Selena hugged me shortly afterwards. After I finished hugging everyone, Treé revealed that she reserved us a booth at a restaurant for lunch.
"Thanks Treé." I said thanking my publicist.
"You're welcome Taylor, it's also your birthday so I figured that you'd like to have a nice lunch together with your family and friends." Treé said explaining her reasoning.

The clock moved closer to the reservation, which is at 1:30. I was so excited that everyone would be celebrating it with me, there was everyone; Selena, Mom and Dad, Astrid, Elijah, Ryan, Emily, Treé, Abigail, Harry, Blake Lively, and Ryan Reynolds. These are the most important people in my life, so them all being together is so amazing. I caught up with Abigail, who I hadn't seen in too long. Abigail met me as a sixteen year old back in high school, so she knows me well.
Thirteen years later, I'm one of the biggest names in music, and it's been a dream come true. I've been incredibly thankful for my family and friends for supporting me from my beginnings to now.

They all are excited for the album, and can't wait for it to be released. They know that the fans are going to love it. We talked about our lives until 1, then we got ready to leave for lunch. Me, Harry, Astrid, Elijah, and Abigail drove in one SUV, and everyone else in another. On the way to the restaurant, Abigail told Harry, Elijah, and Astrid stories about my teenage years, which they found interesting.
When we arrived at the restaurant, we exited the SUV and headed swiftly towards the back entrance. There were a few paparazzi, but not very many, which was a relief. I held one of Elijah's right hand, and Harry held Astrid's left hand. Abigail walked beside me as we walked into the restaurant.

Once inside the restaurant, all of us met up with each other, before being led to booths big enough for all thirteen of us. We all sat down and ordered our drinks, before starting to browse the menu. Treé definitely picked a great restaurant, the menus had a huge variety of options and the atmosphere was pretty calm. After twenty minutes or so, we all knew what we wanted, and placed our orders. I ordered a steak with a side of Caesar salad.

We all had a good conversation as we waited for the food to arrive. Everyone was very excited about it being my birthday today. We all talked about how the last few days had been and what we've gotten up to. After twenty minutes, our food was being served to us.

We happily enjoyed the delicious food that we ordered.
"Thanks Treé." I said thanking her for reserving this for lunch. Treé looked over at me before replying,
"No problem Taylor. Though we might have to do this again at some point." I smiled at that suggestion.

As we finished eating, we had conversations about any exciting events happening and what we were looking forward to.
"It's not for a bit, but I can't wait to release Lover. I think the fans are gonna love it." I said excitedly. As the afternoon faded into the evening, we went back home, where I started opening some of my friends' gifts. The gifts included: a necklace with half a heart (Selena's necklace had the other half), a guitar, and many other gifts.

After I opened everyone's gifts, Selena pulled out a delicious cake.
"I got this for your birthday Taylor." Selena said, placing the cake on the kitchen island. "Thank you Selena." I said, embracing her in a hug.
Everyone grabbed a plate, and ate a slice of the delicious birthday cake.

The evening was dawning upon us, and after a wonderful evening, everyone went to their rooms (in Taylor's apartment of course), and it was only me and a few others. Me and Abigail were chatting it up, talking about how things are going. We enjoyed the evening and slowly started getting ready to go to bed.

I said goodnight to everyone before going to my room and falling asleep. I felt the bed move as Harry got on it and cuddled up to me and I fell asleep in his arms.
