Chapter 12

Taylor's P.o.v

The last two weeks have mainly consisted of me, Astrid, and Elijah recording demos in my home studio, watching Friends, and going to my concerts with Harry.

Harry has developed a close bond to Astrid and Elijah, since they see him like a father figure. He's been so kind to them, but their always up to some sort of mischief. Yesterday, Harry pranked me by acting like Elijah had fell, cut his forehead and was bleeding.

In reality Harry just used a mix of ketchup, water, white flour, and a few drops of chocolate syrup. Elijah wiped the "blood" off his forehead before sucking it off his fingers, that's when Harry revealed that it was a prank, and the "blood" was fake.

Harry pulled a prank on me by parking a car I didn't recognize, I looked at the car and while I stood there confused, Harry dumped a bucket of water on my head. Causing Elijah to burst out laughing. "I will get you for this!" I exclaimed to Harry.

From then on I've had to keep my head on a swivel, and be aware of any potential pranks they might pull.
I've also been preforming concerts every three nights, with Astrid, Elijah, and Harry watching from a suite. Out of the last 4 shows they surprised my fans in the Rep Room twice.

The fans always go crazy when they see Elijah, Astrid, and Harry. But mainly for Harry since he is Harry Styles. After signing many posters and pictures I took with my fans, the fans thank me for allowing them to meet me and slowly they all exit the Rep Room.

After we return to my house on Cornelia Street in New York, I remember that Astrid and Elijah are going to Selena's house this weekend for a sleepover, and honestly I might join them. I've talked to Scott Borchetta about him possibly selling Big Machine Records, which he confirmed he was going to do.

I didn't get why he was selling Big Machine Records, but who knows maybe it's time for a change. I called Selena and told her about what was happening

"Hi Selena."

"Hi Taylor

"How have things been?"

"They've been good. I just finished watching a movie with Emily and Ryan."

"I'm sure it was a great movie."

"Anyway, did you hear about what's going on with Big Machine Records?"

" No, I didn't"

"Believe it or not, Scott is selling Big Machine."

"You're joking right?"

"No, I'm serious, Selena."

"Let's meet up tomorrow 10 AM, at Café Grumpy, it's on 13 Essex st."

"Ok, see you then, bye."

After the call ends I go on Tumblr and Taylurk my fans. My fans on Tumblr always crack me up with their funny videos and reactions to my music and performances. After Taylurking my fans for two hours my eyes feel heavy and I fall asleep at 12:15 AM.

The following morning I wake up at 8:30 and get dressed in a red dress, pumps and grab a pair of black sunglasses. I open the door to Elijah and Astrid's room and see them asleep, so I gently wake them both up. "Can you both please get dressed, we're going to have breakfast with Selena, Ryan and Emily at a Café." I tell them, which causes them to start getting ready.

Astrid's P.o.v

Taylor wakes up me and Elijah, before she tells us that we're meeting up with Selena, Ryan, and Emily for breakfast. Which causes me to look in my closet for something to wear. I grab a black dress with a high slit and a pair of black heels. Elijah picks out a white dress shirt, black jeans, and black sneakers.

I go into the bathroom and loosely curl my brown hair. Elijah puts his blonde hair in a ponytail. When we exit the bathroom Taylor immediately complements us. "You both look incredible." Taylor says, "You look stunning." I tell Taylor, "I thought this was just a breakfast." Elijah says, "I have a surprise planned for all of us." Taylor replies, making me realise this is more than just a breakfast.

We relax for thirty minutes before we get in Taylor's black SUV and her driver begins to drives us to the café.
"You're trying to think of what the surprise is aren't you?" Taylor says, making me question if she can read my mind, "I am, but how did you know?" I ask Taylor, "I've been around you enough to know when you're thinking about something." Taylor replies.

After we arrive at the Café, we find the table that Selena's sitting at, it's at as far from the window as possible. "Hi Taylor!" Selena excitedly says, "Hi Selena! I've missed you even if it's only been three weeks." Taylor says back, "And yes Astrid and Elijah, you'll be coming over for a sleepover this weekend." Selena says causing them to be excited.

"I can't believe that Scott's selling Big Machine." Taylor says to Selena, "What's Big Machine?" I curiously ask Taylor, "Big Machine is the record label I work with for my music." Taylor explains, "What are you going to do?" I ask Taylor, "It depends on who they sell it to." Taylor says.

Taylor's P.o.v

Astrid asked me "What are you going to do?" "It depends on who they sell it to." I reply. When the waitress asks for our orders Astrid orders a cheese quesadilla with a small garden salad as a side. Elijah orders a sandwich with tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, and onions on it. When it's my turn to place my order, I get a garden salad with fries and chicken tenders.

"Do you have any ideas as to who he could sell it to?" Selena asks me, "I have no idea." I reply, "My contract with Big Machine expires in November, and I don't think I'll sign a new contract with Big Machine." I reply, before eating more of my fries.

Once I finish my fries, I eat my chicken tenders, then my salad. After everyone finishes eating, Selena pays for the breakfast and we exit the restaurant. "It was nice seeing you, Selena." I say, "It was nice seeing you too Taylor." Selena replies.

We go our separate ways, me, Astrid, and Elijah enter my SUV before my driver drives us to Central Park. In Central Park, the three of us have a carriage ride through the beautiful park.

I take a photo of me, Astrid and Elijah in the carriage, and after the ride the carriage driver takes a photo of us. I thank and tip the carriage driver, before we enter my SUV and go home.
