CHAPTER 4

"Mr. Isabella, can you not reconsider about the cancellation of our partnership?"

"No. My company heads has decided straight up about the cancellation. I gave the opportunity to keep the company bond by letting your company be one of the partner to launch our product but you straight up rejected your own chance. I have no more to say, you may leave."

Not giving the managerial head another glance, Joshua stoically walked off to the elevator and to his office in the highest floor of his 64 floored building. After receiving the cancellation notice of the company partner, they were left appalled as to how the next day, their company has lost almost 35% of their profits. This just proves how power this young businessman Joshua Isabella is.

Joshua Isabella is a known name in the business world as one of the youngest businessman to ever step in the industry with flying colors. He is one of the most eligible bachelor of the country, Philippines and is very well known especially in the cosmetic industry for running his self-made business corporation COSMOS COSMETIC CORPORATION. For anything there is to note, he is one of the reigning youngest men to ever make record for staying in the top 7 most eligible cosmetic company worldwide from its foundation for almost 8 consecutive years already. He was offered many opportunities for making large-scale branches and franchises through and all over the world but Joshua decided to settle in the Philippines.

And one factor that made him firm for his decision to settle in the Philippine is his mother, Isabella. Isabella is yes, the surname of Joshua if you've noticed. Isabella has cease to exist with no surname and so Joshua was set to make her mother's name to be his surname. He made it possible with all the connections and powers he had and made it official to anyone that Isabella is his surname at the same time the name of his beloved mother.

"Mr. CEO sir. You have a call from your mother."

Joshua only nodded to his secretary and gestured for him to leave the office. With a smile he answered the call and said his greetings to his mom.

"Hey ma, you called."

-I cooked your favorite dish, sinigang fish. You will come home for dinner later, right?-

Joshua was left chuckling as his mom obviously used his weakness just to make him come home. Sinigang is a Philippine dish which has its unique sour and salty flavor usually cooked together with fish; any type of fish and Joshua took a liking to it since his childhood. The young man preferred salty and sour ones than sweet foods so Sinigang was one of his favourite dish especially when it is cooked by his mother. Everything his mom would cook is his favorite; anything from his mother, everything that concerns his mother is also what concerns him. That is how he loves his mother.

"You I can never reject Sinigang ma and you really have to use my weakness? How witty are you becoming now my dear mom?"

His mother chuckled from the other line and he never felt ever so contented hearing his mother's laughter. He's much of a family oriented young man and his seemingly small world, Isabella, his mother is one main factor his world is continuously revolving. And Layad is part of this small world. As much as how he is a self-proclaimed family oriented man, Layad will always be one of the few who make his small world just as perfect as it is.

"Don't worry ma, I will cancel all my schedule this evening just to come home to you. I have to go ma; I'm having some staff meeting."

After saying his goodbyes, he ended the call and directly set off to the meeting hall for yet another meeting. As soon as he stepped out of his office and walked freely his way to the meeting hall, all eyes were on Joshua as young women swoon over his good looks and stoic appearance. And though the attentions he gets from everyone, he never takes interest on any of it. Everyone knows how their president is ever cold to everyone and anyone, and how he is very much work dedicate like a workaholic guy he is. And one thing more that everyone knows is the fact that this young, rich, handsome and powerful man is single which makes it even more for women to be eager to even throw themselves to young man. But because he'd never bat an eye to anything, he'd just simply shrug them knowing all too well that if it's not for his looks, then it will be his money they are after; his connection, background and even just simply because of his sex appeal.
