JOSHUA POV....

I am in a café and waiting for Mrs. Santos as she needs to discuss something. I was in my office when I get a call from her. It was late at night so I went to the penthouse. I know that now Ate Rosa and Layad will be there with mom so I don't have to take tension about her. Next day I directly came to the café from my penthouse.

I am sitting inside of it when I saw Mrs. Santos coming on my direction. I stood up and passed her a smile. She looked like she is in her mid-50s but still looks beautiful. She gave me a smile which seemed like it can warm anyone's heart. She looks kind and gentle as per mentioned by Ish. But there is a question which is running inside of my thick skull as to why she wanted to meet me all of the sudden? Maybe she doesn't want Ish to work outside with some other company. I think I should hear her reason and can't come directly on conclusion.

I sit in front of Mrs. Santos. I ordered coffee for both of us. As she looked at me and I can sense she wanted to say something but stopping herself to say anything. I think she wanted to tell me about Ish past.

"What happened Mrs. Santos why you wanted to meet me? Is everything alright?" I asked politely.

"Yes, yes Mr. Isabella everything is perfectly fine. I-I actually wanted to talk about Ish." Mrs. Santos said this as all my attention is on her now. I hope she won't say anything which will make me feel sad or hurt.

"Tell me. What about Ish." I said to her and she was about to speak when a waiter came with our coffee. He served both of them and went from here. Now I got some privacy to talk with her.

"Actually Ish told me about your job offer. She also told me that you are providing her benefits which will be good for her in near future. I am very much happy when she told me everything. But....." She paused for a min. I think she wanted to say a lot but not able to say it properly.

"But What Mrs. Santos? I offered her a job in my office because I saw her dedication towards her work and she is hard working girl and deserve a chance in her life." I said because to be honest I saw her dedication towards her work and most importantly how she handled the clients. It is not easy for anyone to handle the clients especially when the clients are VVIPs.

"I will tell you from the start Mr. Isabella. I don't have kids in my life and my husband died long ago. I met Ish years ago when she was sitting alone in church. I saw her and felt like she needed someone. She was so scared at that time. So I took her here. I gave her my flat which is locked from 2 months. She started to live there and I gave her a job as well. Then after some time she started to open up with me. She is an orphan and came from India. She just told me this. But I noticed that she doesn't go outside and from the day she came here she never went outside like she is scared of something. When she told me that she is with you and your family and coming to a resort I was so happy that finally she went outside." Mrs. Santos said thinking about these things and smiles a little.

That means she also don't know much about her past. Why has Ish haven't told her anything? In Philippines she is close to Mrs. Santos only and now she is also saying that she doesn't know anything related from her past.

"Mrs. Santos, do you know why she avoids going outside so much?" I asked her because I am curious to know more about her. She is like a mystery to me and I have to solve this mystery anyhow.

"To be very honest Mr. Isabella I don't know anything about her past. She also doesn't talk with her colleagues as well except Luna. But Luna also don't know anything. She only talks with them professionally. But yes I saw a mark on her back. I got shocked when I saw this." She said and I frowned by listening this. Mark?

"Which Mark?"

"Actually one day by mistake I went inside her room and I saw her wearing her top. I was about to go outside when my attention fell on her back. It was a dark mark. Like someone beat her and it looked like an old scar which am guessing it was related with her traumas. I didn't ask anything about it. I was shocked and it surprised at the same time." Mrs. Santos said remembering her mark.
