CHAPTER 27

THIRD PERSON POV......

It's 7 pm in the evening. Joshua came inside his room and looked around. The bag is still there; near the bed. Ishita is nowhere to be seen nor Layad. He came inside and closed the door as he wondered where she could've gone to. Then he heard a sound coming from the washroom. He took a deep breath and sat on the bed. He took his phone out from his jeans pocket and started to scroll the phone tapping on the gallery icon and started to see the pictures of Ishita and him.

He smiled by looking at the pictures. He is scrolling it when Ishita came out from the washroom but Joshua didn't get to know when she came out. She looked at him and saw him smiling ear to ear. She wanted to know what's in the phone which he is seeing and smiling like this. He is so engrossed in his phone that he didn't get to know when Ish came outside from the washroom and sit beside him.

Ish looked at his phone and saw a smiling photo herself. She looks at him with teary eyes. She must've done something good in her previous life that Joshua is her husband now. She is blessed by her god. She doesn't know what to say right now as she looks at him with admiration and teary eyes. Joshua felt someone's gaze on him and then turned his head a little to see his wife in tears and smiling at him.

HIS WIFE....Sounds so good to his ears. He knows why she is in tears. He just smiled looking at her and wiped her tears. Joshua took her into his arms and she snuggled more like a baby. He just smiled at her reaction and kissed on her forehead. After a minute of silence, Joshua breaks the hug and looked at her smilingly.

"Are you happy Ish?" He asked and she can sense the worry in her husband's voice.

HER HUSBAND....Sounds damn good to her ears. It's like a soothing therapy to her ears and her heart.

She is now getting more comfortable around him. She knows very well that Joshua is here with her always. ALWAYS AND FOREVER!

'What if you also lost him just like you lost your smile years ago?' here comes the brain.

'Can't you just keep quiet for a while? Ish is trying to forget her past and move on.' Her heart said to her mind

'I am asking her a question that's it. He is her husband who she trusts but what if he also leaves her just like her parents did? Her mom did then?'

'If you can't help her by saying good things then it will be better to shut your mouth'

'So according to you what is the right thing to say?'

'Well, He will never leave you alone. This is all I can say right now' her heart says

'Let's see babe if he will leave her or not'

'Why will he leave her? Even he knows about her past then what will be the reason to leave her all alone.'

'You never know' her mind says and Ish frowned

"Ish...Ish....What happen all of the sudden? Are you fine?" Joshua asked her worried because she is just smiling and now she is frowning. Did he just ask the wrong question? Ish came out from her thoughts when she heard Joshua's worried voice.

"Huh...wh-what? Did you say something?" Ish asked to him as she doesn't know what he just asked her as she is listening to her mind and her heart.

"First drink this water" Joshua said passing her a glass of water which Ish gulp. Joshua put the glass on the coffee table and again looks at her

"Ish, are you okay?" Joshua asked wiping her sweat which is coming from her forehead.

"Yes I am fine. Umm...I-I" Ish said but she wanted to say something to him so she started fidgeting her fingers with her white Kurti which she is wearing. Joshua looks at her hands and took her small cold hands in her warm big palms.

"You want to ask me something?" He asks to her which she nodded and blinks her eyes.

"Ask me then. You don't have to be thinking so much Ish. I am your husband and you are my wife, my better half, my life partner. You can ask me anything without fidgeting your fingers." He said playing with her fingers. Ish smile by listening to his soothing words as he knows how to calm herself so well. Her doubts flew away on the very next second when she heard him saying to her; his life partner, better half, wife...HIS WIFE....

"What if.....y-you al-all so le-leave me j-just li-ke my mom did?" She asked him while looking down at her hands which are hold by Joshua. She heard him taking him a deep sigh.

Joshua hugged her tight and give her forehead kisses and rubbing her back *not in an uncomfortable way*. He put his chin on her head

"Ish, I will never ever leave you. You are the most important part of my life. I promise you Ish, I will never leave you alone. Not today, not tomorrow and not in future. As a husband and wife, maybe we fight, we don't talk with each other, maybe we both will shout on each other like normal couple did but whatever happens in future, we will solve our all the fights before sleeping at night so that I don't have to sleep on the couch on the regular basis." He said the last part teasingly which he awarded by a slap on his chest and he is laughing.

"I promise not to ever leave you alone." He said looking into her eyes and her eyes shines like a sparkle. She smiles and showing her 32 teeth

"I promise you one more thing Ish." He said and looks at him only

"I promise you that I will make sure to punish those bastards who did this to you and will find your mother." He said looking into her eyes which has tears now. She will never forget her worst nightmare in her entire life but she now wants to forget her past with the help of Joshua. Joshua wipes her tears

"I don't want to punish them" She said making Joshua frowned. He can't help it but to ask her

"Why? There is a need to punish them. What if...." He was about to say when Ish cut him off

"I want to forget my past Joshua with your help. I don't want to remember them. I don't want to punish them because they will pay in this life because of their deeds. What we will do? Arrest them? Even they will go to jail, after some years they will be out of the jail. Then what Joshua? We can't do anything in this matter and I don't want to punish them because my god will punish them for hurting me, for hurting a girl's sentiments. They will never live their life in happiness. Trust me Joshua; I don't want to think about them. Forget about them. I also don't want to know about my mother Joshua but still she is my mother whoever she is...You just find her that's all I want." She said and cried in front of him. Ish knows the thing that even if she send them in jail they will anyhow come out from it and live their life like they were living so it will be better to forget the past and start her new life with Joshua, with his family.

Joshua hugged her don't know what to say to her. Joshua can't forget this so easily. He will find her mother soon and will find those bastards anyhow. But he needs to know how they looks like so that it will be easy for him to find them even he has to go India by himself.

They both broke the hug and look at each other eyes. Joshua wipes her tears and kiss on her eyes, forehead, nose, cheeks. He looks at her face which is now red like ripped tomatoes. She is blushing so hard that Joshua chuckled at her reaction and he again awarded with a slap on his chest.

"Now, you take some rest and I will just go and take a bath. Then we both will go downstairs for dinner." He said and gives her a light feathery kiss on her forehead.

"By the way..." Ish said and break her hugging session

"Did you talk about our marriage with Ate Rosa and Aunt Isabella? What did they say?" She asked him and looks worried because the marriage took place in a hurry as they didn't get the time to ask them about this marriage.

"They are fine and happy. Don't worry about them" He said and she nodded her head. She wants to ask so many questions but it's not the right time to ask as he is also so tired. So she just nodded her head smilingly and lay on bed. One last time Joshua pecks her forehead and went inside the washroom.
