JOSHUA'S POV

It's been two days after all that's happened in my house with everyone; my mom, Ate Rosa, Layad and especially with Ishita. Mom was utterly left in peace when Ate Rosa already recovered from all the distress and shock with Layad's accident. It took Ate Rosa sometime to handle the situation. She was dead worried about her daughter. Layad on the other hand is still recovering. She was fast to recover fortunately and partly thanks to all Ishita's professional and careful therapy with Layad. Layad was silent for the first two days after she came conscious and started talking little by little after Ishita talked to her.

That's when we found out about her trauma attack during the fire incident and how she was given back the memory of his late father. We all took turns looking after her and the process were all but distressing. Especially on Ishita's part because she had to tend for everyone; she had to give complete therapy to Layad, she also had to check on Ate Rosa and give her a bit of therapy since she was emotionally distressed and to mom also. Ishita also tended for mom for her therapy session and Ishita never looked so distressed than ever.

But even tho her wholeness being tired, she never showed and just smiled and went on tending on everyone with a soft and warm smile. I never knew a woman could be this independently strong; and this is where I realized all the things she talked about her, it was all true and there was not a single word to call a lie within her story. I appreciated everything Ishita has done and I admired her more than anything for that.

"Sir, our revenue has dropped by a little 3% by the last five days."

I was then pulled back from reality when one of the board spoke. I am now back in my company and now in the meeting hall for a general meeting. Since I was absent for like the whole week or so, I had to regain the business front for me to cope with my own company.

"What do you mean it dropped?"

I walked to my swivel chair on the center seat in front of the u-shaped table and faced everyone. I took hold of the tablet my secretary gave me as I scanned the digital report and revenue of the company.

"The sudden cancellation of products got to the consumers and they were piqued with the reasons why. We released an official statement already but the issue already got leaked—"

"Release yet another statement on that regard. We cannot lose our consumers suddenly like this. 3% is already a big decrease for our income. I want this issue be fixed by the end of the day."

Everyone in the meeting hall was silenced with my sudden orders.

"Meeting adjourned."

I left the meeting hall with a hard face as I walked past the all my employees now bowing low their heads as they came across me. I just got back form a distressing incident and when I finally get to check on my company, this is what I'll be hearing? This is just unacceptable. I cannot let this slide because I cannot afford losing my consumers more than anything within my company. My consumers are what my companies' are living for.

"Sir, this is the updated list of the newly hired employees."

Upon arriving at my office, I sat directly on my chair as my secretary hands me again the table with all the list of the employees' names and information. I scanned through all of them carefully and one-by-one.

"Why am I seeing everyone with just highly certified experiences? What about their professional knowledge?"

I looked at my secretary with furrowed brows as he only looked back with eyes looking everywhere but mine.

"I always told you about not being biased with hiring employees. This is what made our company a company-wise and friendly establishment; because we hire anyone who is willing and has the potential hardworking front and now you give list of just experienced ones without a single knowledge?"
