CHAPTER 20

JOSHUA POV......

I don't know whether Ish will agree to go with me or not. I have to make her agree. I know there is not much need of Ish. Actually, she can possibly help us through video call. I am also going because of some reports which are important for me. I want Ish to go with me in India because that company is actually based in Delhi, India from where Ish came from. I want her to come with me. I want to solve her mystery past anyhow.

I am not desperate to know her past. I know when she feels completely comfortable around me she will tell me by herself but I just can't control myself because whenever I saw her sad face, I didn't like it the least bit.

I was thinking all this when I heard a knock on door. Whoever it is, I let him in. I turned around to see it is Ish. My P.A. went outside as she smiles and comes towards me.

"Joshua, you called me?"

"Yes Ish. Please sit first. I want to talk with you about something." I said to her and sit beside her.

"Tell me. How may I help you?"

"Actually one of my head company which is based in India called me a min ago and he said that they urgently need a physical therapist. There were some mishaps going on. So I need to go there" I said to her and she looks confused

"So, how may I help you Joshua?"

"Actually I want you to come with me" I said and her face looks pale now. I frowned wondering what happened all of the sudden to have her face pale. Is there anything she is hiding from me?

"What happened Ish? Is there any problem?"

"N-no, no...yes...I mean....no....I-I mean..." She started to stammer. Her face color vanishes instantly. Her hand is fidgeting with her floral dress, her forehead started to form sweat. Why does she looks so scared all of the sudden? Her breath is also not looking normal to me.

"Ish...Ish...are you okay? Wait, let me grab you a glass of water." I instantly get up from my seat and fill a glass of water. I sit beside her and make her drink some water. She gulped it in a go. I am rubbing her back to make her feel relax a bit.

"Ish, I think we should consult from a doctor. Let's go to the hospital." I said because I don't want to take a chance with her.

"No-no Joshua I am fine now. I am absolutely fine. It just that....how...can I...come....with you...I didn't even join your business officially yet." She said looking here and there.

"Ish you will join tomorrow. And obviously it doesn't matter to me that you are joining from today or tomorrow. I want you to come with me because you are a physical therapist. There is some issues going on and the situation is serious. I request a favor from you."

"But how can I....I mean..."

"Is there anything else you are hiding from me Ish? You can tell me anything. Why you are so scared with the name of India? India is your hometown."

"It's no-nothing like that...Okay I will come with you." Finally Ish agrees about this.

"Thank you so much Ish and don't worry okay, I will be there with you. You don't have to be scared from anyone. Okay so we need to go because we have to go tomorrow early in the morning." I said and her breath hitched for a min.

"To-tom-tomorrow?"

"Yes. Okay let's go. First we will go to your apartment then after packing your stuff we directly go to our home. Tomorrow we will leave together so that time will not be wasted. Also don't forget to take your passport okay." I said and called my P.A. first. He came in and I told him to book our tickets for Delhi, India and also book our hotel rooms. He nodded his head and went outside. I took my blazer and phone and held Ish's hand and we both went outside. Everyone were looking toward us as I wondered why and I don't have that much of time to ask them.

We both came outside from my office building and sit inside the car and I started to drive my car. The whole journey from Office to her apartment is silent. I time to time check on Ish's reaction from the corner of my eyes and I can sense that she is tensed about something. What could be the reason that she is scared that much? She even doesn't want to go to her hometown. I will make sure to find the reason behind this. My main purpose is to find the truth. I know there is not much use of her presence there but I intentionally make her go there.

By the time we both reached Ish apartment. I stopped my car and looked at her. She still didn't realize that we have reached her apartment. I unbuckled my seat belt and touched her shoulder. She suddenly got scared with my touch.

"I-I am sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." I apologize to her. I touched her before but she didn't look scared just like now.

"No, I am sorry actually I was thinking of something. I didn't realize that we reached my apartment. I just came back with my suitcase." She said and unbuckled her seat belt and opened her car door and went inside her apartment.

I am sitting inside my car when I get a call. I checked the caller ID and it is my mom. I attend her call

"Hi mom"

"Hi Joshy, you called me?"

"Yes mom, actually I and Ish are coming home so please make her room ready. She will stay there tonight. Actually we need to go to on business tour tomorrow. So please make my suitcase ready." I informed her and from past days I didn't see her because I was so busy in my work and I even didn't go to my house.

"Okay Joshy I will make your suitcase ready and her room as well. Is there anything else?"

"Mom please makes something to eat. I am damn hungry and I am so tired with my work."

"Alright then you come and I will prepare everything." Mom said and I disconnect the call. Just then Ish came with her suitcase. I went outside and took her luggage and put it in back of the trunk. She herself got settled inside of the car. I also sit inside of the car and I looked at her face and it looks like she was crying.

I don't feel good by looking at her like this. But whatever I am doing, it's only for her good. Sometimes we need to take some step which will hurt your loved ones but it is also good for them. It is for their betterment only.

Now I need to make her mood up. I now know how her mood gets to lighten up. I started to drive my car and after some time we both reach. I parked my car and she looks confused. I know what she is thinking.

"My princess looks so sad so I want to lighten up my princess's mood. So I started to think what I should do that her mood gets up and I can see her smile." I said just like how I talk with Layad, I talk with her now. I saw a slight smile on her face and I think I get successful in my plan. She is another Layad.

"Then I remember that my princess loves her Pav Bhaji so we came here to eat your favorite food. Now come fast" I said and make her laugh. We both came outside and I order two plates of Pav bhaji and we started to eat. We started to talk about everything.

When I saw her smile and laugh my mood also got lighten. She is so naïve, sweet girl. I never saw any girl like her in my entire life. I just hope that in coming future everything will be fine.

After eating Pav Bhaji, we both settled inside the car and I drive my car to go to my house because from tomorrow there will be lots of hurdles coming in front of us which we have to pass together. I promise you Ish I will never leave you alone. Whatever the situation in front of her we will pass together. I promise you this. I will be with you forever. I don't know why I am making promises with you but I know one thing that I started to like you. I can do for my love ones, for my family and now you are one of my family member.
