Janu got up and took the blanket from the bed and draped over him and increased the ac temperature. She walked into the bathroom and searched the cabinets for the first aid box before coming out and sat down beside him looking at his hand which was injured twice.
"I don't understand why you are doing this. But you seriously are in need of help Mr.angry bird" Janu held his right wrist and slowly pulled out the glass pieces.
After carefully removing the glass from his palm and back of his hand she cleaned his wound with antiseptic before wrapping his hand with a bandage. She put a small bandage on her leg before placing back the first aid box in its place and took a pillow from the bed placing it under his head so he would be more comfortable.
She moved the glasses away from him so he wouldn't hurt himself when he woke up and was about to walk in the direction of the door when he held her ankle stopping her in her tracks "Little demon...." and turn around looking at him "Little demon...please.....tell me you didn't do this....".
Janu bent down and held his wrist trying to get out of his hold but he just held her ankle tightly making her sigh "I didn't do it...I promise..." which made him loosen his hold. She put his hand on his torso and walked out of the room and shut the door behind her leaving him to his so-called past dreaming land.
*************************************** The next morning when Raghav woke up he felt a raging headache as he sat up holding his head. He looked around sighing at the mess he made out of anger then his gaze fell on the bandage on his palm making him think back to yesterday and a blurry image of the girl moved in front of his eyes assuring him 'I didn't do it....I promise....'.
He got up and dialed the home phone to the kitchen ordering the maids to clean his room before going to the bathroom to complete his morning routine. By the time he came out freshly showered and dressed, the room was cleaned and lunch was placed on the tea table making him sigh and complete his lunch.
He went downstairs to see Bhanu who was sitting on the couch and doing her work and greeted her "Mom! I thought you'd be in the orphanage".
"I already went there and returned. Raghav! You hurt yourself again" Bhanu shook her head worriedly.
"I'm used to it" Raghav mumbled "Where's Aaryan?"
"Geethu left him with her in laws. He'll be here next week" Bhagya replied making him nod once.
Just then his mobile vibrated making him answer the call "Okay! I'll come. Wait in the cafe".
"Who's it?" Bhanu asked.
"Keerthi! Her bike has some trouble. I'll go pick her up" Raghav pocketed his mobile making her nod.
"Can I tag along?" They heard Janu who rushed to them.
"No need!" Raghav started walking away.
"But! You're responsible to show me around" Janu reminded him making him stop mid stride.
"I already showed you around" Raghav retorted.
"A restaurant and a mall. Is that what you call showing around? See Attamma (mother in law/father's sister)! How he's behaving" Janu complained.
"Arey! Raghav she's right. Take her with you. What if she has to go out and no one will be available at that time. Janu go with him and have dinner outside after your sightseeing" Bhanu insisted making Janu grin and hug Bhanu surprising her.
"You're the best Attamma" Janu pulled back and stood beside Raghav "Let's go" making him clench his jaw and walked towards the door.
