"This is our daughter Keerthika" Veeraju introduced his daughter making Keerthi nod with a small smile.
"You look beautiful Keerthika. But you'd have been even more beautiful if you plaited your hair properly" The groom's mother complimented making Keerthi's smile vanish.
"This is our son Vedansh. He's currently taking care of my business" The groom's Father introduced their son.
"Hello! Keerthika" Vedansh greeted her.
"Hello!" Keerthi didn't even smile at him.
"Why did it take long to search a groom for Keerthika?" The groom's mother asked.
"Your son is the first match we bought home for my sister aunty" Geethu answered.
"But Keerthika is twenty two isn't she? Why did you decide to marry her this late?" The groom's Father asked making the family confused.
"And what do you think is the right age for marriage?" Janu questioned making the trio look at her.
"The government announced that it's twenty one for a girl. And who are you?" The groom's mother curiously asked.
"I'm a cousin of Keerthi" Janu replied.
"And by the way you look you're definitely not married. What are your parents doing leaving you in other's care?" The groom's Father shook his head.
"You can't disrespect our guests. She was bought up in London and it's her wish when she wants to get married just like Keerthi" they heard Raghav who came into the living room.
"Raghav sir! It's an honour to meet you. I've read your business page in Forbes I'm a big fan of you" Vedansh stood up greeting Raghav who sat down beside Lakshmi Devi.
"You must be the older brother. Why are you late? It's your sister's match fixing and her brother is missing. How shameful" The groom's mother shook her head making Keerthi look at Veeraju who seemed angry.
"We can't change few things aunty. And you don't get to blame anyone in my family" Geethu retorted making the trio shocked.
"How can you raise your voice against your elders Geethika?" The groom's Father asked making Keerthi scoff.
"You should be happy you're still sitting here after you disrespected my brother and sister. Now before I actually kick you out get out of here this instant" Lucky glared at them making the trio stand up.
"Such a shameless family disrespecting their guests. Let's get the hell out of here" The groom's Father walked away with his family following him out.
"Why didn't no one tell me that you're looking for a groom for Keerthi?" Raghav questioned.
