Vachya served the food in the plates as he sat beside her. He mixed the curry and rice as Vachya slowly mixed the rice and curry on her plate looking at him. He bought the first morsel towards her mouth making her grin and eat it. And then they both ate their food silently.
"Peniviti! Now we're not back home and I'm a grown up. We're officially married too" Vachya started making Raghav nod putting another morsel of food in his mouth as she continued "So we can sleep together now right".
Raghav choked on his food making her bring the water glass to his mouth and he took a sip of water as she rubbed his back "You have an impeccable timing to ask such questions".
"It's not a question. I just want to be with you" Vachya corrected him.
"You're with me" Raghav stood up and put the plates in the sink.
"I wanna be closer to you" following him she pushed him aside gently and started doing the dishes.
"We're in the same house little demon" Raghav reminded her.
"We were in the same house before too and yet we were so far away from each other" Vachya argued as she washed the plates and bowls and put them in the stand to drain them making Raghav sigh and walk to the master bedroom.
After a few minutes Vachya checked the locks on the door and turned off the lights in the apartment before walking towards the second bedroom which is opposite to the master bedroom. She sighed looking at the closed master bedroom door and was about to go into the second bedroom when the door to the master bedroom opened.
"Do you really want to sleep with me?" Raghav leaned against the door frame looking at her.
"I'll sleep in the second bedroom" Vachya took a step inside the second bedroom but before she could take another step he turned her around holding her arm and lifted her in his arms and carried her into the master bedroom in princess style.
He kicked the door shut behind him and walked towards the bed and laid her on the left side of the bed. Once she got comfortable on the bed he pulled the blankets up to her waist and kissed her forehead "Goodnight" making her smile and wish him back too.

Vachya faced the other side as she felt the bed dip indicating that he got onto the bed and gulped as he pulled the blanket. She felt her heartbeats increase as if she had run a marathon and tried breathing deeply. She literally could feel how nervous she was since this is the first time they slept in a bed together as a wife and husband.
"Vachya..." she heard him.
"Hmm?" Vachya just made a sound instead of talking.
"Tell me if you're uncomfortable" Vachya was confused at first but her heart beat literally stopped for a second when she felt him close behind her and his arm went around her waist spooning her.

"Peniviti?" Vachya called him.
"Hmm?" She felt his breath at the back of her neck which made her fist the sheet.
"Is your heart beating fast too?" Vachya asked.
"Why don't you turn around and find out?" She bit her lower lip and slowly faced him and put her palm in the middle of his chest closing her eyes concentrating on his heartbeat.
"What do you hear?" She felt his breath close but this time it was on her face making her open her eyes to see him looking into her eyes with just two inches gap between their lips.

He moved his left arm under her neck and pulled her close with his right arm around her waist leaving only an inch gap between their lips.
"Do you want to kiss?" Raghav whispered.
"Why are you asking for permission?" Vachya asked looking at his lips.
"Because I want you to be comfortable and enjoy whatever we do" Raghav replied making her caress his lower lip with her thumb.
"I love you" she whispered before closing the gap between their lips.
