"Come and eat" Raghav heard someone and turned around to see Janu standing at the door.
"Yes! Mr. Andrews. Ofcourse! My assistant will send you the mail" Raghav disconnected the call and folded his arms "Didn't I warn you not to enter my room without my permission?"
"I'll not bother you if you have your lunch" Janu insisted.
"I don't want to eat" Raghav simply sat down on the couch in his room and started working on his Mac.
"What do you mean you don't want to eat? Do you even know how long it took me to make the biryani? I didn't even eat it and left it at the table so I could bring you down and eat together" Janu was getting angry at his behaviour now.
"If you cooked it with such efforts then go and eat it yourself" Raghav sent a few emails.
"I'll not eat until you eat" Janu huffed folding her arms.
"Fine! Don't eat" Raghav shrugged without looking at her.
"I'm serious" Janu stated making him look at her innocencently.
"I was serious too" Raghav stated making her pout and turned around walking out slamming the door behind her.
AT NIGHT.................................................
Janu sighed as she looked at the time to see it's already nine and held her stomach as she heard sounds coming from her stomach. She felt elephants running around in her stomach and curled herself on the bed due to hunger. Bhanu sighed looking at her condition while Keerthi and Lucky went inside to bring Janu to have dinner.
"Janu! Let's have dinner girl. You didn't even have lunch" Keerthi held Janu's arms and made her sit up.
"Did your brother come to eat?" Janu asked.
"He's a stubborn ass Janu. Don't bother about him and spoil your health. It's not healthy to stay hungry" Lucky sat down on the other side of the bed.
"It's not healthy for your brother to stay hungry too" Janu retorted.
"Yes! But he got used to it now. So let's go and have dinner" Keerthi insisted.
"What do you mean he got used to it?" Janu frowned.
"He always skips his meals even after so many warnings. Now we got used to him ignoring our words" Lucky shrugged.
"I won't eat until he eats" Janu stubbornly laid back on the mattress making the sister and brother look at each other then at Bhanu.
Raghav showered and changed when he heard a knock on the door before the door opened revealing Bhanu "Mom! Come in".
"Completed your work?" Bhanu asked making him nod and pulled a book out of the book shelf.
"Raghav! It's not right thing to take your anger out on Janu for someone else's mistake" Bhanu tried coaxing him.
"I'm not angry on her. I just don't want to eat" Raghav spoke.
"Because you don't like biryani? Or you don't want to eat it because it reminds you of h-" Raghav shut the book.
"Mom please" Raghav breathed making Bhanu tear up.
"Raghav! Janu didn't eat anything after her breakfast. She's stubborn just like you and sitting in her room waiting for you to eat. You can stay hungry but don't let others stay hungry for you. It's not a good thing for you and also for the people you are close to too" Bhanu adviced and walked away leaving him alone.
Keerthi and Lucky gave up persuading Janu and went downstairs to see everyone at the dining table while Veeraju asked "Is he still not coming?"
"You know how stubborn he is and now Janu joined him in his stubbornness too" Bhagya shook her head as she served the food to Lucky and Keerthi.
'It's been so long since I last slept hungry. How many times has he gone to sleep without eating?' Janu groaned as if she's in pain closing her eyes.
She heard footsteps and sat straight opening her eyes and looked at the door to see Raghav standing outside her room "Everyone is waiting for you".
"Are you ready to eat my biryani or not?" Janu questioned making him glare at her before walking away.
She smiled and rushed out behind him as he descended downstairs making everyone shocked and happy at the same time to see Janu coming downstairs too as Bhanu served the biryani in two plates for them who took their seats opposite to each other.
"Eat girl! What are you waiting for?" Lakshmi Devi asked.
"Not until your darling starts eating" Janu narrowed her eyes at Raghav making everyone chuckle at her stubborness.
Raghav clenched his jaw and mixed the biryani with gravy before eating it making her grin and started eating while everyone shook their heads at two stubborn asses in the single house.
