"Did you...just...slap me?" Janu was bewildered.

"Not a word anymore. If you dare talk about my wife wrongly, I'm going to send you to hell" Raghav warned as Janu held her cheek looking at him as he continued "Yes! It is because of her I'm like this. It is because of her that I don't ever want to get married".

"She ruined your lives" Janu mumbled with tears in her eyes.

"That's between me and her. And it doesn't matter if she has ruined our lives or not because what I and her have is far more than anything in this world. You want to know the real reason I don't want to love you? It's because my soul,my life is out there with her. She took it with her when I forcefully sent her away. She begged me not to send her, that she couldn't live without me. But I was stubborn and my family needed me so I left her. Left her all alone to face the world and I would never forgive myself for that. In fact the man standing before you is the man who lost his own soul and purpose to live because his soul is somewhere else so you better watch your mouth before saying something about my life" Raghav warned and walked out of her room banging the door behind him.

Janu collapsed onto the ground with a thud sobbing hardly pulling her knees to her chest. She didn't want to stop her tears this time not after what he felt. Not after how he never loved anyone other than her. She started crying loudly closing her mouth so no sound goes out as her heart broke into tiny millions of pieces.

Raghav angrily walked into his room and towards the bookshelf and pulled a book out making the shelf move aside revealing another door and opened it, going inside shutting the door behind him. He turned the lights on brightening up the secret room which was filled with photographs completely covered in a thick layer of dust. After all it's been years since he went into the room closing and locking up his past. He walked to the middle of the room and sat down on the single couch pouring himself a drink and slowly sipped it leaning back on the couch closing his eyes at the bitter taste recalling his bitter past.
