"There was once two idiots who were good friends. People shunned and made fun of them because they acted and talked unintelligently.
One day they finally got tired of being teased and came up with a plan to be taken seriously.
"I heard there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow," said one idiot.
"If we find that we'll be famous and rich!" exclaimed the other idiot.
With that they quit their jobs, sold their worldly possessions, and begun their journey.
They rejoiced every rainy day and trudged through floods and swamps to track the end of the rainbow. The rainbow kept disappearing and reappearing at different places but they pursued it relentlessly.
Unfortunately age caught up with them and their health deteriorated. They died of pneumonia in the woods without ever finding the pot of gold. Those who still remembered them mocked their silly ways and fruitless efforts.
Yet, their lives had purpose."
