Curiosity killed the cat
But satisfaction brought it back
What I mean is exactly that
Curiosity killed the cat
It started off scared to ask
The intimidation often held it back
The truth of others is all it seeked
And it couldn't help but sneak a peek
So curiosity killed the cat
But satisfaction brought it back
In terms of the cat
As a matter of fact
That it has nine lives
So as we return to the act
Of mouse and cat
And we see that curiosity
Is just as fatal as I am said to be
Curiosity killed the cat
But for a while I was suspect
It really is quite dangerous
But it surely is no stranger to us
So as we discover
The cat is like any other
Even nine lives could not forever thrive
Curiosity killed the cat
What I mean is exactly that
You may observe that curiosity
Can not be spelled without I
I is me with the devilish fee
Paid in satisfactory
Indeed it is me, Curiosity
Spelled with a capital C
The cat was killed all until
It came back to me
And I am Curiosity.
