Wandering
Helpless
Confused
And hysterical
I am lost
Wallowing in the dark sea of heavy emotions that weigh me down
Deeper and deeper
Until I've reached rock bottom
I've been here for so long and so many times
That it doesn't even hurt anymore
I don't feel the icy exterior as I break Through the surface of happiness
All I feel I numb
Numb
Numb
Numbness tingles from my heart to my head
From my arms to my legs
Trying so much to reach the soul
When pain
Sadness
Anger
Worry
Despair
Lonliness
Longing
Shame and Embrassment
Succeed in passing through the sheets of No really it's ok
I promise I'm fine
And I don't care anymore
I feel them
And they hurt
But I just can't grasp the pain
Get a hold of it
So I can let go
So I can move on
More often than not it takes forever and a day
For me to reach the surface
For me to catch a breath of air again
Sitting so long in the dark sea of emotions can only last so long
Before you burst up from under the surface feeling again lost and confused But ready to fight
Or you disappear into the emotions
Becoming a part of the dark sea.
