You. You are different and you are loved.
You are everything she's ever dreamed of.

But you. You are blind and you are wrong.
You never even thought to sing her a song.

You. You deceitful and you are fake.
Her heart was never yours to take.

You. You're abhorrent and you're a liar.
Within her, you lit a fire.

You. You are her happiness.
You are her weakness.
You are her excitement.
You are her divine strength.

You are her great love but she isn't yours.

You. You are her light in the night sky.
You are the galaxies that shine bright.
You are the universe that she hopes to find.
She wasn't any of your stars even for one night.

You. You who is her lifeline and air.
True love is what she gave you, a love that is rare.

But all you wanted to do is get her out of your hair.

You took away her night sky, all her stars when you left.
You took away her air, her whole lifeline when you went.
All the lies and wrongs you did to her, didn't repent.

Her. Her who was young and naïve.
She should have never let herself be deceived.
She should have known, your love she'll never receive.
Her family and friends who warned her, she should have believed.

Boy, why couldn't you mend her?
Why tell her you love her,
when in the end, you'd leave her?
